I called the Auditor's Office with questions about my property tax increase and was connected to Vince. Vince did an excellent job explaining how the tax distribution was calculated. Thank you Vince, we are very fortunate to have a person with your abilities and experience in the Auditor's Office.

January and June
No answer? Surprise surprise. My taxes have skyrocketed after living in same small lot for 40 plus years. Theres no way this could be happening to justify a small single lot with a old house on it. Quadruple my taxes as a widow? I think they want the properties around here. So they can knock the old ones down and build new bigger homes to get more tax money. They have flooded my home, and surrounded my home with water from a controlled dam. And for 40 years I have put up with the erosion of my property by not controlling the dam water like they used to 40 years ago. You would think things would be updated and better controlled. Not at all. This is a older community and we get taxed as if it was a new house. There isn't even sidewalks, streetlights if you pay for them. I never thought I'd get a knife in the back by voting a Republican in office but it happened.
Go to the Franklin county auditor site and do property search you can do it by address by owner or location so I would do it by address if you know the address and they'll tell you who owns it and everything about the property
Go into the office(personally I would do that FIRST...
You need the County Recorder 's office. They have a public search website to print out copies, or you can contact their customer service department by phone.
You have to have a boundary survey done
contact the condo manager
Depends on where in crestline you are. There is Crawford and Richland
I'd recommend checking Crawford or Richland county, seems Crestline is on the border.
Hello - the information is available online here: https://www.franklincountyauditor.com/real-estate/homestead or the Auditor maintains a public information line which is 614-525- HOME (4663). The staff on those phones can answer questions or transfer you as needed.
Any fence or change to your property is taxed
I believe deeds are filed with the Recorder's Office.
You would need to contact the Treasurer's Office, they send out the tax bills. You can submit it on their website at: https://treasurer.franklincountyohio.gov/Forms/Address-Change
The deeds are actually filed with the Recorder's Office and you would need to contact them.
Click on "Transfers" on the gray box on the summary page.
Second half property tax bills are due in June 2018.
When are they due?
Yes
Click on "Tax & Payments" in the gray box on the left side of the property's summary page.
