Staff at Enhanced Assisted Living Facilities are allowed the physically assist older adults through functional mobility, using gait belts or other assistive devices. They also are allowed to assist in activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing, and toiletting. They have cleaning staff for house keeping. They have kitchen staff for meal prep, distribution and clean up. They have an activities department for facilitating social events, entertainment, exercise classes, arts and crafts, etc. They have nurses and med techs on sight for taking of vital signs, first aid, medication administration, and advocating for patients to doctors and other health care practitioners. They have transportation provided as well as shaperones if needed to get to and from medical appointments, special events, and sometimes even shopping trips. I think I covered most of the bases.
