Wow! What a great movie theater to see an IMAX movie! The theater is great and the people who work at Marbles IMAX are amazing! I highly recommend checking this theater out whenever you get a chance you will not be disappointed.

Premier membership pays for itself by seeing a movie every couple months... we just saw Alita in 3D - it was awesome!! The cafe next door provides pagers & the food can be taken into the theater; order w more than enough time, though... they get busy! Local IMAX in downtown Raleigh. Fresh popcorn! Comfortable seats, huge screen, great sound for a theater experience. If you haven't been to an IMAX, the auditorium is steeply sloped & you sit seemingly closer to the screen (which is enormous, btw!). The surround sound is much better than the typical theater making the experience much more (virtually) interactive. I didn't see a 3D this time, but have in other IMAX theaters. Given the chance, IMAX 3D is amazing - give it a shot.

If you're Seating in the top half of the theater it's amazing. The closer your get to the screen the more vertical your head becomes, quicker then a regular movie theater . That didn't bother me so much as the movie was in 3D and everything was blurry. This IMO is too small of a space to fit that many seats. It was not enjoyable. We saw Star Wars the last jedi and when the movie was over the entire back half of the movie theater applauded and the front half was silent, coincidence? I bet this theater loses about half there repeat customers depending on where they are seated the first time they go. If you expect to get a good seat go very, very early. We arrived an hour early and we were #205&206. That's right they give you #s as you walk in the door and you go into the theater the same order you arrived. So if you don't want a disappointing night, show up at least 2 hours before showtime. Possibly earlier if it's a highly anticipated movie.

Around 240 split in two on the horizontal. I would not recommend the upper seats because you have to look down. Same for the lower seats. The middle horizontal offers the best view in my opinion.

While not an IMAX movie theater owner, Marbles IMAX tends to show blockbuster movies or those with the potential to be a blockbuster. My guess is they would show Capt. Marvell or the anticipated big movie in February.

The price is suprisingly really cheap, especially for an imax theater. It's definitely worth it, in my opinion.
