Edit: I was actually reviewing my local barber. That's the 3rd or 4th time my review went to the wrong business. Come on Google! Anyway...Harrys set my Les Paul R8 up and did a great job. I got it back allot quicker than expected. Guitar plays great. Great shop... love all the beautiful Martins!!

I came in hoping to have a regular setup and cleaning done to my guitar but the staff told me I would have to leave my guitar for 3-4 weeks before they could work on it. This doesn't work for my schedule and I find it hard to believe it would work for many regularly playing musicians. The didn't even look at it to see the extent of the repairs and tried to claim that all shops in the area would have a similar backlog. Even if there was a backlog, surely there could be an appointment system so I wouldn't be without my guitar for so long. Luckily, they were wrong and Music and Arts at Crossroads was able to work on my guitar that day.

I just picked up my Taylor 214ce and my Gretsch Streamliner, both of which needed set-up. I can't believe the difference in how they play and sound, it's amazing what the hands of a skilled luthier can do to for the tone and playability of an instrument. The action on the Taylor was way too high, making barre chords past the 3rd fret almost impossible, now I can play them up and down the fret with ease. It's absolutely perfect. Thank you so much!

Scott was so knowledgeable and helpful! I have been dying to learn the guitar. I called looking for a Yamaha FG800 and they had some in stock. Someone in the back set it up while scott helped me find an easy to use capo and a variety pack of picks to try out. He also recommended a tuner and case which I think will be useful. Scott showed me how to hold the guitar and play 2 chords once it was ready. Overall, I had a great experience and I can’t wait to learn the guitar. I’ll definitely be back for a guitar strap, more picks, and some books in the future

very good... masks at door for those without, sanitizer at door and wash your hand with soap and water before touching instruments and gear
Call them and ask. They are a really great guitar shop and a great alternative to the national chain stores.
