We visit this location regularly lately. We got our beloved Scottie from here in 2007. He was 10-12 weeks old. He died last April. Now we are in search of our new family member. We love the customer service and friendly staff. It makes the transition to a new family member easier!

Sorry for the delay. Its best to stop in and see what dog you are interested in. Our application is online at shakeapawrescue.org Once you select a dog, fill out the application, and we go from there. Dogs tend to get adopted out pretty quickly, with multiple applicants for every dog, so its good to stop by often
Unfortunately we only accept dogs into our shelter but we hope the Guinea Pig finds a safe new home.

Hi, with covid, we rarely see many pups, least of all highly desirable ones like you mentioned. The Shake A Paw pet store does occasionally have them, but that would be a purchase, not a rescue. Visit shakeapaw.com or call our stores if interested. Thanks

A fee is requested because that's how they can afford to keep up with the costs of rescuing dogs, of all ages, that need to be rehomed. The fee is a fraction of buying a purebred/designer puppy. It's really up to you and what works for you and your family. Shake A Paw is always offering rescue dogs at different prices. They were very helpful with my rescue. They are a great resource. Good luck.
