Steven in customer service is a terrible employee. Cut me off and intentionally placed me on hold to not have to deal with the issue after waiting on hold to speak to someone for over 30 minutes. He clearly hates his job from his tone of voice also.

I bought curtains for my mom (from BedBathandBeyond, online). Unfortunately they did not go well with the quilt so we decided to return them - I asked my mom to go to the store and return. I forwarded her my email with the online order. At the store, she was told that online orders cannot be returned as a refund, only store credit. Well, that's a LIE. She had to order email and a packing slip. The store employee shamelessly took advantage of a 76-year old woman and instead of refunding her $115, they gave her store credit. Yes, I checked the refund policy and unused, new condition items (which these were, we did not even unpack the box) can be returned for store credit. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE treatment of the elderly, taking advantage! Will not shop BBB again and will discourage others.

WORSE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH EVER!!! The customer service team and SUPERVISOR are LIARS! Placed an order over a month ago and they cannot fulfill the order they continue to lie and say they are issuing a refund and never do it. Each person you speak with tells you a different story. Stop lying and give a refund for an order your company couldn't fill! WILL NEVER SHOP AT BED BATH AND BEYOND EVER AGAIN!!

Its pathetic that a corporation doesn't know how to communicate properly like a functioning business
First of all file a claim with American Express let them know what happened? Also see if any of your neighbors have cameras so you can get video.Write a detailed letter to the corporate office of Bed Bath and make sure you get the store number. Not phone number but stores have something called store number. Make copies OF EVERYTHING AND THEN write another letter directly to tje store detailing everything contact names of people you spoke to tell them to resolve the matter because you have contacted you credit card dept. And tell them you will go to sm claims court if you are not refunded.don't except any explanations unless in writting. Hope this helps
