I am visiting from northern VA and southern hospitality is no longer a thing! I was in line at tropical cafe on Linda Lane @8:54 pm and got to the window a 9:02pm and they wouldn’t serve me! My mom wanted a Bahama mama and I said are you able to to serve us and Brooke was so rude I’m going to tell you we close at 9 o’clock good night! Come outside and put a cone up like Chick Fila and serve the people in your line before 9 o’clock!

The food was great as always! I would give it five stars but it was tough to get waited on. Took 15 minutes to get our order taken inside the store and we were the only one in line.

I usually like this location. Tonight, I'm not sure what happened. Their smoothies are usually fantastic, but I'm not sure if it was the person who made it or not...but what I got tonight was literally a flavored icee. It was more or less pure liquid, and everything else was pure ice. It's as if it had little to no actual ingredients. I was the only one there at the time as well, so being busy, I might could let it slip. Hopefully, this is simply a one-off due to an incompetent employee. Because I really do enjoy this place. It's a shame 😞

The shop was so clean and the people were so nice. The food and smoothies were amazing well worth the money. Thank you for and amazing and safe place to eat during this pandemic. When I told the person taking my order about an allergy she made sure all our smoothies were made in sanitized blenders.
