Other than waiting for Foxhill to open which we weren't aware of after 20 minutes go by and we were there for 140pm for an appointment at 2 pm I decided to next door to pet intake and a nice associate informed me that Foxhill has nothing to with my dogs euthanization other than that oh yeah they had Cocos name wrong too.Anyways Jen was very knowledgeable and sympathetic and understood we're we stood about the whole process Over all everything went okay.
Cheryl Carpenter
My dog gizmo was fixed when he was 6 months old. They were very nice, helpful and polite. I just put him down being of 15 years. Thinking of getting my little girl fixed.
Steve andrychowski
They are very knowledgeable and make sure the animals get good homes.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
Ok, thanks so much. I'd probably even go there, thanks! 😊
The prices varries and if you call them they can give you a list of the places to get free pets. Thank you
They have a fee of $445.00 that includes spay/neuter, microchip, first shots and veterinary care. It also helps cover the food. You can watch their website. From time to time there are adoption events that local companies sponsor. The companies pay part of the fee.
Hi how did it go? Were you able to bring the cat to a shelter? There are tons of shelters that you can bring stray or abandoned animals to, like your local humane society. They appreciate a donation to help them care for it but you are NEVER required to pay money when you drop off an animal. They would rather have you bring in the animal, so it can be cared for, instead of leaving it suffering in the streets. The cat that is following you may have belonged to an elderly person who passed away, and no one rehomed the cat. You can leave some food and water out, then immediately call shelters or cat rescue organizations near you. They know how to SAFELY trap the cat (so the cat is NOT harmed at all) and will take care of it and find a home for it when the cat is ready.
I Need a cat can you message me let me know if you still have them and how old
A chihuahua just showed up in my garage and she blind and pregnant beautiful idk what to do
Animals clinic in East Hartford...
I believe they accept most anything. Even if they don't need them, someone who is adopting a new pet might be able to use them.
There are lots of different vaccinations available. Best for you to give them a call., I am sure they have a package price available. Some are a set of three or four visits, a week or two apart. Also, Petco has a clinic
Yes just ask a person eho works there and they can make it happen
Yes they do you need to call them to make a appointment.
I am sure they will be able to find her a great home.
Yes they do.
Yes we do. Thank you for thinking of us. You can bring them into any of our locations any time. And I'm sorry for your loss.
Check the website, cthumane.org
Puppies are $445 and that includes puppy training classes. All puppies are fixed and have their first shots. Puppies aren't included in "Clear the Shelters", only older dogs. If you don't mind a slightly older dog, a 6 month old to a year is $275 but no dog training.
I would call the Fox Memorial Clinic at the Humane Society and make an appointment. The visit will ve cheaper than other vets, but you still have to pay.
You would have to call them to see if they have a rescue or if they know if any shelters that might. You can also look online at Petfinder our do an online search for bulldog rescue organizations. Good luck and Happy Birthday!
I'm looking for a female spayed about 2 years old. How much do u charge and would she have shots? This is a cat because mine passed at 16 last month and I so do miss her.
I went 9 dates ago to look and came home with mine💖
Yes I would bring him here
Yes and I have adopted 3 from them before but I want to get a hairless one.
You can ask if they have any here, but if you're looking for something very specific you'd be better off shopping than adopting.
Wow that is a hard one. Go on YouTube and see what you can find. You'd be surprised the things you can find on YouTube to help guide you through this with your cat. Good luck hun.
Also call the Dept of Agriculture. They have a spay/neuter voucher program. Spayct.com & spayusa.com are also good resources
Call them. They are very helpful. When you get an appointment to bring your boy in, rest assured he will be treated like family and adopted to someone who will love him.
They do have cats periodically. You can check their website for availability. We have adopted two dogs from them. They have an outstanding staff.
Im not sure. You would need to contact the humane society and ask them. Sorry I couldn't be more help
The humane society is an animal shelter and not a vet. Perhaps you can try the vet that is associated with them. Not sure of there name but give them a call to find out. Best of luck!
It changes daily. Your best bet is to check the website frequently.
They aren't doing spay/neuters at this time. They are short a vet. Check the website spayusa.com for resources.
Puppies, 2-6 months are $445, 7-12 months $275, dogs 1-7 years $150 over 7 $100 To adopt go to their website cthumane.org.
Hi I dont work for the humane society but I know there are many shorthair cats available. Please go on the website and make your selection. Hope it works out. Thank you.
Yes
I'm not 100% sure if they do online adoption for younger cat however you can always try and just see what they say if they don't then the Berlin turnpike really isn't that far well at least from me I don't know where you live. But I do hope that you're able to adopt a cat that needs a home I hope all the animals that need homes over there get adopted
Yes they do allow you to adopt a dog without a fenced yard I know for a fact because I have taken a few of my clients there to adopt who have needed emotional support animals and they have no problem with it
Because of the covid-19 virus they are not open to the public at this time. You must call and make an appointment to see the adoptable pets
Yes, they have kittens available.
I am not sure I would call first before going.
Give the Connecticut Humane Society a call. We just finished adopting murphy. A 3 year old old english sheepdog. They put new pets on there website I believe every Wednesday or Thursday. Just call them up if your interested in one of the pets. They will ask you a series of questions and if they feel your a right fit then you make an appointment with them and your dog or cat that your interested in so you can go meet them. For our dog Murphy we paid a $150 donation fee and for our dog it included all shots and microchipped full examination blood work. Basically the works to make sure your pet is in good health. We couldn't have been more happy with the whole process and friendly staff. Go ahead and give them a call.
Call The humane society
Yes
Set it free
You have to call the humane society I have adopted both my dogs from their
Bring them to protectors of animals at 144 main st. east hartford. It's a no kill shelter. Tell them they're rescues
I thought so too called many none are willing to work with the price lowest 179$ East Hartford animal clinic
You should give the office a call in the morning. I am sure they will not be able to give you any additional information online. Happy Thanksgiving
Go on the website cthumanesociety.org and then click on adopt.
So sad, I'm not sure what the surrender process is as we have only adopted. I hope you find a good place for her.
Yes, I believe they do have a program. Give the office a call in the morning.
Some vets offer payment plans, I would ask around.
Call animal. Control and ask for some assistance to get them in their right place so that they can live a healthy life.
I had a dog that contracted distemper years ago, he eventually made a full recovery. No vet I have ever used would suggest putting a dog down until there was no hope for recovery.
Yes, like Jay said, in Newington.
Yes, I am sure they will be welcome.
Dont go looking for a specific breed, go there looking for a friend for life. 😁
https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/25668485-wethersfield-connecticut-yorkie-yorkshire-terrier
Yes there is a charge for a euthanasia
They don't allow them to do the hours onsite but they have a few independent projects that they can do for the animals benefit. Check out this page on their website https://cthumane.org/events-and-service-projects/. It gives a few options and suggestions for projects.
Looking to adopt a small adult dog, Pomeranian or Yorkshire Terrier.
No but PAWS in Norwalk ct does
You want Fox Clinic in the same building as the Himane Society.
James has a good point, I went looking for a shih zhu and found my new love, a poodle. Take a look, one will melt your heart.
Their adoptable animals are on their website in real time www.cthumane.org Puppies are $350.00 plus $95 mandatory behavior classes for a total of $445.00
Yes. You sign in when you get there.
Adoptable animals are listed on the Ct Humane Society website.
Call and ask
cthumane.org newington humane society you can also check the other branches on that site
Fox Clinic in Newington in the same building as Ct Humane Society.
They likely only take unopened containers, taking anything open would present safety risks so I highly doubt they'll take anything not factory sealed
$110 for female cat http://www.cthumane.org/site/c.8qLKK1MELjI2F/b.8683307/k.6910/Fee_Schedule_for_SpayNeuter_Services.htm
Yes, as Sunpaw mentioned, best to give them a call during business hours. They have a few programs that may help.
Look on their website under the adopt section. Their puppies vary from day to day but the website is usually up to date.
You need to call and talk to a staff member. They can advise you.
I think it depends on what you mean, for medical? Dropping off a rescue? Or dropping off a pet you can't keep anymore. Either way the best thing is to call and ask them before hand so you know what is needes and expected to make it an easy painless visit
Sure, sounds like something they can use. You can call them to confirm if you are not local.
Call the humane society & they will take the cat.
Yes look on the website and fill out a form if you're interested.
Newington Human Society is a great place ,they will find her a new place . I live on Cedar St n I visit them every week. Chk them out. Good Luck.
The state has a low income spay neuter program. You can find more info here https://www.ct.gov/doag/cwp/view.asp?a=1367&q=259104 Good luck.
Call CHS, and they will set up an intake appointment with you.
Please check our website. It is live. Www.cthumane.org Right now we don't, but check back often as our pets change frequently.
Not sure what they have, but we wanted the same type of dog and the staff at CHS got us exactly the right dog
Bonnie, you can see what dogs are available on the website, cthumane.org. Call for more specific details on size and weight.
Im looking for a blue how old
Go to the website and click on the adopt part.
9:30am til 5:30pm. But lines may start forming before that. That's happened in years past.
You have to call them. This is not their site
This is not their site. You need to go their or call them
Yes, all cats get microchips.
Please call the Connecticut Humane Society. They have 3 locations to make it more convenient for you. They are caring and will take excellent care of him until the find a new home for him.
You have to call and make sure they have room for her sometimes there's waiting so your have to wait for a spot to clear
WOW that's a tough one because no matter which one you pick to stay behind he or she is gonna be heart broken I wish them all lots off luck I took in a stray shitzu yesterday who's very old has only a couple of teeth left and from what I can tell he is deaf he doesn't respond to any sound I have to call Animal Control today because he needs medical attention especially in his mouth his breathing is not so good and he is sneezing I believe he has allergies I hate to send him away but I have no choice so I know how hard it is to part from an animal they all need love and attention my heart is with you for what you are doing for these cats I love people like yourself who have a heart God bless you
You can check their website, call, or go visit them.
I think you may have a misunderstanding of the type of business they are. They deal with animal welfare. If you are referring to a fundraiser for them, I believe you would need to contact the involved venue or organization.
I think you can but it would be courteous to call them first.
you need to go their
If you call and they aren't able to take your dog, they may know of other shelters that can help you.
Yes, they will try to re-home cats. Good luck and I'm sorry you aren't able to keep your little friends.
Go to the Humane Society and see what they have for adoption.
Check their website or local rescues
Put for adoption
You would need to call them to find out if they have one. They won't respond on this site. If they don't have one, they might be able to direct you to a Jack Russell rescue.
Employees hardly if ever check this site. You need to call or go to theit site
They do not kkikl animals that do not find a home. They only euthanize dangerous animals. They are coomitted to finding a home for ever animal.
I would contact them via the phone as the humane society does not monitor this site. This site is primarily setup to have Google users in the area review and answer basic questions about the company.
They will help if they are ur last resort
Check out their website. They post the volunteer opportunities for each location. Plus there's ways to help that they'll help with. Like if you want to hold a collection at a business.
Bring the dog to the Humane Society
Call them or check online they hace a detailed list and always call back.
Call and ask they don't usually see questions on here
I would tell them to cancel your membership and they will take care of it. If it's a bill for services, you need to discuss costs and adjustments with their billing department.
Contact them and see if they have room.
If its a stray they ask you pay something but if you truely can't they won't turn the animal away.
The Fox Veterinary Clinic attached to the shelter should be able to help. They are cheap, but I don't know the exact prices.
Yes
I do not know. You will have to give them a call.
