This is not only our favorite spot in Wellesley, it's our favorite spot in the greater Boston area! At this point my husband and I have ordered almost everything on the menu and it's all absolutely delicious!!! You can tell a lot of thought and care goes into every little detail of each dish, from the choice of bread and pairing of meat and cheese on a sandwich to the unique ingredients of the salads that you just won't find anywhere else. Everything always tastes fresh, organic, and of superior quality. Our favorite things are the Turkish dishes and of course, the homemade baklava!!! Also, the staff are all super friendly and the service is superior. My husband and I keep telling ourselves that we should try out different restaurants, but we keep coming back to Cafe Mangal because it really is the best!!!

Warm,consistent,fresh,quaint,real and cozy are all the adjectives that come to mind at this beautiful Wellesley restaurant . Besides I love any place that gives respect to a salad(great portions too) Only wish they would have more vegan soups and vegan choices in general . At present ALL their soups are non-vegetarian .

Been to cafe Mangal for dinner a couple of times & never been disappointed. Found myself in Wellesley Friday afternoon & decided to have lunch here. Ordered the small tomato & mozzarella sandwich & soup combo. The sandwich was delicious & the salad was so refreshing. I didn’t realize the vegetable barley soup had beef in it so I skipped it ( I don’t eat beef) My friend said it was decent. I’d love to come back & try a few other things from the menu.
