Great local seafood market. Their fish is fresh and delicious. Another bonus is their frozen meals -- I love to stock up on the frozen entrees. They are top notch! The frozen fish cakes are great to whip up in the air fryer for a tasty treat.

Fresh & wide range of seafood, including ready to cook & eat items, packaged to go. Restaurant adjacent next door now open for dinner. Worth the trip from our hotel with a short & easy drive, set your GPS for navigation. Loved our 1.75 fresh lobsters steamed for 50 cents fee, taken back to our hotel suite's to enjoy.

This place is great! I’m talking about the fish market side of the venture here, but there’s an attached restaurant. -clean, well lit, prompt and experienced service -excellent selection of fresh fish, lobsters etc -knowledgeable and helpful staff -freezer section with seafood dishes and cuts I love salmon more than really any other food, and the fellow behind the counter swore the trout he had there would be as good or better for making gravlox. It cured excellently and had excellent color, flavor and texture compared to other salmon I’d treated similarly, so he was totally right.

Captain Mardens is THE BEST. The fish experts here are just that. Experts. They are knowledgeable and friendly making this grocery errand a sincere joy. There is a wide selection of exceedingly fresh fish. They also have prepared foods, an excellent selection of sauces and condiments and even rice. They have a few onions, shallots, heads of garlic and potatoes on hand so you can avoid an extra trip to a grocery store. I hate grocery shopping but I love shopping here.

Seafood market is walk-in only. Restaurant is open for evenings only. No reservations. Ready to cook & eat meal options (plenty of varieties) to bring home or back to hotel to heat up if yours has a kitchen or microwave.

I agree with the 20B option. You'll hit all major rods until you get to Linden street. I would take 9 to 16 to Linden. I think that's the way.
