This is an outstanding practice! I’ve been coming here for years, and even when I moved to Los Angeles, I still kept My Eye Dr. in Wellesley as my practice of choice for all my eye care needs. You truly can’t beat the optical department. I’ve known Larry for years and beyond being a truly skilled Optician who donates so much time and energy to any patient he sees, he is a one of a kind presence - I’ve literally never seen anyone walk away from his desk without a massive smile on their face. Sometimes when I’m in the area, even if I don’t have appointment, I’ll just stop in to say a quick hello. I’ve just met Lisa and Nicole in the optical department and they only bring additional positive energy to the practice - such great people to be around. I saw Dr. Gannon for the first time today and she couldn’t have been nicer - she took her time with me and explained everything in ways the patient could understand. Leena at the front desk was extremely helpful and whenever I call, I always get someone on the phone who is ready and willing to help. This is a great practice and I’m so lucky to be a patient there!

Horrified by my phone call with them just now! I had booked an eye exam because they had an abundance of appointments available. On the day ( like 24 hours after I booked my appointment) I was running 5 minutes late (literally 5 minutes) -its what happens sometimes in life. I was courteous and called them to warn them as such. The woman on the phone says if you are going to 5 minutes late you will need to reschedule. I questioned her on this because its 5 minutes NOT 20 ! She didn't bother looking at the schedule, just said its our policy. I asked to speak to a manager, she did the same thing - its our policy. I repeated it was 5 minutes late not 20! but hit a brick wall of rudeness and arrogance. The manager tried to speak over me, rather than listen to what I had to say and I had to say that I was speaking. Imagine putting a customer of yours in that position. To top it off she had the nerve to say to me, word for word, 'we expect people to be on time.' Talk about patronizing someone. to which i replied, ' i assume you are on time to all things 100% of the time then? I think not. And you are most welcome that I was nice enough to call you in advance. ' Needless to say, I decided not to bother going here and will take my business else where, where customers are treated kindly and with respect. This opticians needs to sort their act out, if your turn around time truly is that tight - which i doubt it is, but if it is; then it needs to change. Its certainly no way to run a business. Ridiculous!
