It is hard in this day and age to find people willing to pick up a person who they don't know. We suggest finding a way to get to a meeting on your own and then let people there know that you need rides. Once they meet you face to face they will be much more likely to say yes.
There is a meeting on at 7:30 on Monday nights at 1 Grafton common at the Universalist Unitarian church.
They have them if you go on intergroups website you can place the order
Gardner is actually handled by the District 26 Corrections Committee. I passed along your letter to our D26 Liaison at our meeting on Thursday night.
No noontime ones, but there is a BBSS meeting at 10 am at St. Stephen's Church on Hamilton St.
