I love the front desk employees and budtenders here, so friendly and informative, they always steer me in the right direction to help me find the best products for my needs.

They have amazing prices and great deals on products. But my lord, some of them are slow at their job. This dispensary is set up differently than any other one I’ve been too. Some of the worker seem like they have no urgency to assist patients in the waiting room, while a select few are running back and forth. Not very efficient in my eyes.

I was just there not too long ago for my monthly supply. It was a horrendous scene. Apparently, all the bud tenders and anyone else even available know nothing about any of their product but what is already written for them to read off to you in advance. My bud tender that day stared at me rudely as if I were stupid to say nothing. He just gave up and guided me to a computer. I asked him a question regarding concentrate flower versus diamonds and sauce - the gentleman looked like he just had an aneurysm. All of the staff, during my 45 minutes there, were all busy sitting, laughing, helping nobody, just messing around with each other. I felt as if that's all they would prefer to do. And during checkout he was very quiet and rude. I wrote in the notes to redeem my points and he didn't, even when verbally spoke so. Even more horrible is he didn't go over the products and medicines being given, etc, he hastily and horribly slapped labels on, threw it in a bag and just gave it to me. The guy barely spoke and acted like he didn't want to interact with me, or any customer at all. I was so shocked and offended. Every time I go to this location I have to put up with arrogant and rude bud tenders while pharmacy and management hide. Also, it's almost $40 in gas sometimes when I pay my ride to take me to get there and return. And they've made mistakes before including handing off wrong items. It would cost more money in the end to return it than to just eat it. Management was nice and kind when I called, but really could not do much but say that I can speak to management before entering their vault. It's sad when I go to a Medicinal Cannabis Dispensary, and I know more about their cannabis than all of their staff combined. Yet, it seems like to them I'm too stupid to get hired or they act like I am stupid and know nothing.

Great products and prices for the most part, but since they have been bought out by ayr wellness instead of being nature's medicine. I've noticed customer service and prices are deteriorating. Especially now with two other dispensaries competing now they get extra upset when you try to ask about discounts and sales. Nature's medicine used to give veterans 30% off and they have changed it to 20%. When asked at checkout to make sure I'm getting the best deal I can on my very expensive medicine I get treated like I'm trying to pull a fast one on the staff with the response I get sometimes. Really unnecessary treatment and customer service for those on low/fixed income and have to budget to afford the products. Used to never be a issue asking about prices before, let alone ary wellness changed the website and preorder process, the website is wrong about half the information on the medicine. And you don't find out until you pay or open them bag at home. Overall, great products, and prices when you catch the right items. But the customer service is hit or miss now or days for me, will be trying other dispensaries due to that alone.

And when they have a sale they don't give you your VA discount like the other dispensaries. It's all about the bottom line not helping those who are sick. They're a step above the street dealer.
Herbology in Altoona
I was there a month ago and the selection was awesome.....and so were the budtenders!!
Thanks everyone whom reviewed we need more q&a's #puffpuffpass
They ask that you only use curbside if you absolutely can't physically make it into the store.
currently they only limit how much bud you can get due to a statewide shortage on the grower's end. the supply is not meeting there demand, for flower anyway. as far as anything else, I'm not sure if there's actually a limit. it wouldn't be a $$ limit, that's for sure. last time i was there my budtender mentioned a guy would come in and get 4 bottles of lotion. now i dunno if the limit on those is 4 or if that's what he just gets.
Their menu is updated at least daily and new shipments added as they are received. Naturesmedicines.com They also have online ordering to save time. Just go pick up.
They usually only have them on weekends. You can check their online menu. If you're a registered patient you can pre-order online to save time. https://naturesmedicines.com/state-college-dispensary/

There's a really nice waiting area and she can go in and speak to the pharmacist with you, the only place she can't go is into the room where you actually purchase the product. She does need to have her drivers licence and since it's your first time there you'll need your licence and ID card.
Uh yeah...
No moon rocks there I'm looking also
Yes you need a card but if you want to save money go to kciw. What natures medicine is charging 60 for kciw has for 40. I hear the other dispensary down there is the same. I've always liked natures medicine but they dont look out for you.
They are very good. Only one person in the lobby at a time. Screener questions. Only 5 people allowed in the waiting room at a time. And in the back there are partitions between the employees and customers. It is one of the only places I have continued to go to during the pandemic as I am high risk.
Maybe someone is selling there medicine which is illegal and they are trying to find them. Theres a reason they got locks on the door and if the police want to make sure everything is cool and legit then that's fine. They arent hurting anyone standing in a corner. Marijunan is still illegal under federal law so be glad you can even get it in our state.
At 6 months I called my doctor and it was instant and free but I havent made it too a year yet
Tofftrees family medicine, Dr. E
I think they only give to Vet's a 10 percent
I don't think anyone that doesn't have a medical marijuana card can go in the building. You have to actually hold your card up to a camera before they let you in the front door.
No they don't I thought you were speaking about the one in Pittsburgh.
Yes. Open regular hours. <3
There is no limit.
Yeah you dont get your card there, you get your medicine there. I went to Harrisburg to get my card, but there are physicians closer. I just went where I went bc they were trustworthy. You only need to see a physician about your card once per year, so dont let someone tell you otherwise to squeeze extra money out of you!
Hi Stephen. We accept debit cards for a $2.50 surcharge to the bank. Your bank may also charge their own fee. Usually that is paid back at the end of the month, so I would say use cash preferably or check with your bank. Hope to see you soon!
I believe they need to see the expectation date on the card. Samething happened to a friend of mine and he could not get in the door without his card , he had his ID # also.
Green Bridge Society. Check them out, they can help assist you and it would cost $250 for the year. The person you want to speak with is Ron Boyles. He is the founder.
Some dispensaries are set up to accept debit cards, I'd be surprised if I worked with a credit card. Most dispensaries including this one have an ATM on site.
You can go to a qyalifying doctor, or use a certification center. I used Compassionate Certification Centers in Butler, had proof of my qualifying condition. Spent total $250 & got my card in 4 days. Please be careful, there are scammers out there that'll either say you have to come in a few times a year to renew or have to jump thru other hoops. Only do it if it's for a full year! You could look up marijuana certification doctors in your area.
Just walk in! They don't take appointments.
You can probably sit in with the Dr at an office that will recommend she get her medical marijuana license. Once she has that, you are more than welcome to come with her to Nature's Medicines, but the state does not allow us to permit anyone in in the back where the meds are dispensed unless they have an MMJ card/license. Don't worry, we like to take the time to understand our patients needs and are more than happy to help your mom figure out her dosage and what works for her.
Anyone with a card can go in. If the person with the card is under 18, a parent or guardian must be with.
I have used thc lotion for nerve pain. I think they have a menu online.
