Dr. Forrest is probably the nicest Dr. That practices in any field. Everything was thoroughly explained. Dr. Forrest even took the time to show me my scan up close and personal and it was amazing the technology that is at our disposal. When I walked in everyone was very friendly at check in and check out with a thorough explanation of my benefits. That was just the Dr. Side. On the retail side the tech that helped me she was amazing helped me choose frames that I loved and she was very thoughtful and explained to me everything that was going to be charged. Even though the news of my prescription changing was not my favorite thing to hear the entire experience was fantastic. I left happy and excited to receive my new frames. Dr. S was lovely and did a wonderful job examining my daughter and explaining what was going on with her vision. I have an appointment for myself in a couple days, looking forward to going back. Update: went back to see Dr. S for my appointment and she was great as expected. Explained what was going on with my vision and recommended various contact lens options. Then Susan helped me pick out some great frames. Lovely visit, great doctor and staff.

I went in for an exam and glasses- frames & lens in August 2021 (approx). I don't have a problem with the exam that was good. But what I don't like, is the glasses, especially the coating that is supposed to resist scratches. The coating comes in several tiers, depending on how much you want to spend. I didn't get the cheapest - think I got the mid coating. I have more scratches on these glasses than I do the department store glasses that I sometime purchase. I did go in once to have the frames tighten, but they are loose again, and asked about the coating. It was strongly "emphasized" on this return visit that its a scratch resistance and not preventive. Based on my opinion, which is based on me wearing the glasses, the coating is not worth the cost. The coating should be called scratch - attraction. I find myself reaching for the department store glasses over the one I purchased from Vision Works.
