You can't beat this place! My dog ripped her pads and was miserable, they took her in the next morning, as soon as they opened and, she was bandaged up and sent home with meds. I seriously don't have enough good things to say about this place, from the girls at the counter to the vet techs, and Denise. They are all the best, and genuinely care. You just don't get that everywhere.

Westfield Animal Clinic has been wonderful with all 3 of my dogs. We transfer years ago to them after realizing we were paying way too much at another vet office that’s more like a big company. Westfield Animal Clinic has been so good to our dogs and we’ve had everything done from your regular check ups to surgeries to teeth removal on one of our 3 rescue dogs. The staff is professional, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They’re also comforting when you’re worried about your pets. My dogs are like kids to me so when I chose to transfer to Westfield Animal Clinic it was also like choosing a pediatrician for my kids. It wasn’t just about how I was overpaying at the other vet office, the other vet office just had a cold, un comforting feeling to it & the vets there were just quick & I didn’t feel like they cared or wanted to take the time I needed from them to explain things about my dogs when needed. They were more of a get people in and out asap and charge them double or triple than other places. At Westfield Animal Clinic they are the total opposite of the other vet office we use to use. They are just so kind, comforting and truly take time with you & your pets. I’m truly glad we switched to them years ago! I highly recommend this vet office. They’re fantastic.

This is the only clinic I would bring my beloved pets, past and present, to. Always have received great care whether it was routine check ups, an injury, dental cleanings, ear infections or even the sad task of putting down a pet. Dr.Larochelle and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.

I've been taking my pets to this place for many years now and I'm glad it changed owners because this place has improved so much and has great service. I'm happy with my veterinary and love their cremation services. They now give a last gift when your pet passes away with your pets paw print on ceramic which you can finish in the oven and paint yourself if you like. I really loved my gift and the box they gave me with my cats ashes for it has a slot for a picture. 3 cremations and 4 pets. Very happy.

My Dog Remy has developed what I first thought was a skin tag but has grown in size to a round pink pea on the top of his near his right ear. It is firm and doesn't seem to be causing him any pain. Does this need to be looked at?

I don't think asking Google maps is a good idea, I would call the office and get an appointment.

Are you guys still taking patients? If I schedule an appointment how long would it be for them to see my dog during this pandemic?

Unfortunately we are not taking new clients at this time. We are at our max for clients. Sorry for any inconveniences.

I’m not asking any questions. I’m actually giving them a zero for rating! I just moved here and I have a 13 1/2 yr old fur baby and asked about having him put to sleep because he’s now suffering. I was asked are you a patient?

Westfield Animal Clinic | Sep 5, 2021

Thank you Anna for your response to Heather. Yes we are overloaded with patients during this time. We are also only a one doctor practice. We do our best to accommodate our patients but unfortunately we cannot accommodate non clients at this time. We are sorry that to u feel we deserve a 0 rating for this. Your situation is why emergency hospitals exist. They are there in the event of emergencies and have a higher volume of doctors and staff to see patients when small privately owned practices cannot.

Whats the average cost for a 1st. Appointment?

Rhonda Roberts | Sep 6, 2019
Westfield Animal Clinic | Sep 6, 2019

It all depends on why they are being seen. If they are coming in for a wellness appointment that cost is $50 and includes a full physical exam and nail trim. If they need vaccines then the cost changes depending on the vaccines needed. If they are coming in for a sick visit that cost is $54 and would include the full physical exam and a recommendation of what needs to be done next.
