This is a great animal shelter. The staff is top notch, and really care about the animals. My family has gotten 3 cats from here, and they've been wonderful additions to our lives. Through an extremely generous donation, the riding facility behind is also part of NCAL, and they offer riding lessons and a summer riding camp.

Our experience was pleasant that left us taking two bother kittens home at the end. The facility was clean and the people were kind and informative, all the animals were happy and well taken care of!

Loved this place... We found our fur baby Blessing here. Adopting her was the best. Adopted dogs have this thank full feel.... i mean you can tell they are great full.

We adopted our wonderful dog here and got helpful advice when we were first meeting him in their doggie play-room. The adoption process was smooth, except for a minor misunderstanding about whether they'd call us or not before we picked up our new friend. The shelter seems well-run and clean and we saw dogs coming and going a lot when we visited, so it seems like they get a lot of attention from either staff or volunteers. Definitely a great place to adopt a pet!

If I'd known I would have gladly taken him he would be welcomed with open arms and paws to a loving cuddling family!!!!

It always pays to stop by NCAL. There are all kinds of cute dogs that need homes.
North County Animal League is a wonderful place to go to for any animal. They are very caring and the animals are treated really well.
