Caring, knowledgeable staff and volunteers are a huge plus here! They take such good care of every critter in their care, and there a lot! All the animals are given as much love and attention as the busy staff can manage. They do their best to keep all the cat and dog enclosures clean and as comfortable as they possibly can, and volunteers are almost needed, so if you're local and have some time to spare, consider becoming a volunteer! I have so much respect for all they do here! After adopting many rescues over the years, and in the end, I always wonder...who rescued whom?🥰

Ok, small shelter. Not terribly clean when I was there Droppings from dogs not cleaned up. Not much for heat either!😁. Some dogs appeared mal- nourished.

Tried contacting them for 2 weeks with no attempt to get back to us, if someone did answer they said they'd call up back but never did. We finally get ahold of someone for longer that 30 seconds to let them know we made a decision. We were basically told we're not good enough for this dog because we don't have a fenced in yard. We met everything other criteria, we get the best food available, we go on walks daily, someone will be home at any given time etc. All we wanted to do was let them know that we're interested in that one dog and would like to peruse her if possible, instead the phone call devolved into the volunteer speaking over me, not letting me finish a sentence, telling us they know what we want better than we do, clung onto a lie that we were interested in a different dog, being spoken to as if we've never adopted before, clearly misunderstanding what we were trying to say. Yes i lost my cool on the phone, but you try talking to someone who won't listen for 20 minutes and see how calm you are. What confused me the most was, when we met the dog we decided on, the volunteer was all for us picking her, said we hit it off and had nothing but nice things to say then we are told we're not good enough SIMPLY because we don't have a fenced in yard. We have a yard with a lead btw. Very condescending, very rude, lack of understanding. Would not recommend. Edit: was blocked from their Facebook page for commenting our experience. Guess you can only say wonderful things or you must be silenced.

Had a fabulous experience here yesterday! I have been planning to surprise my son with a cat for well over a month now. They helped me facilitate this and we were able to bring home this super sweet cat! The animals were all super well taken care of, the facility was clean, the staff was kind and helpful, cannot say enough good about this place. If you are looking for a furry addition definitely come see them!!!!

Yes this is a no kill shelter and they are amazing. These humans care deeply for their furr friends.
I would call them to make sure their number is 754-2228
You should call them I know there are only certain hours they accept new dogs.
Maybe call first?!
As long as they are sheltered from the rain I don't see why not! That is a very thoughtful and needed donation.
This is a no kill shelter. They keep dogs until they are adopted! Call the shelter the amazing staff is always happy to help.
Only with no bite history, and yes they may euthanize problem dogs.
If you still have your dog, i was searching for a 3-4 yr lab for a support animal. Would love to to make a play date and search a connection and more than willing to give them a loving active home.
