Such a cool, quick, little visit with a great view. There's a short walk up to the overlook. We made it just fine with our stroller. There are somewhat steep steps down to the lighthouse w/ a rope for a handrail but it's better than nothing and puts a little adventure into it. I do recommend keeping a close eye on your little ones. There's a steep cliff with no fence. Just bushes but there are gaps between the bushes.

I’ve been wanting to see this lighthouse for the longest time. Finally got to see it and it was worth the wait! Didn’t think you could walk right up to the lighthouse but you can. I was a bit nervous with the stairs because it was super windy out and I didn’t want to risk falling. I ended up finding a little trail that brought me down to the rocks for a different view of the lighthouse. Totally worth it. Also don’t be afraid of the private property sign. I wasn’t sure that was the entrance but it was.

A nice little lighthouse with views and great picture opportunity spots. The lighthouse can be viewed from a few different vantage points depending on which path you take. Would say a nice 15-30 minute stroll around.

You can probably use the one at Castle hill Inn, if the staff allows it. You could also use the one by Ocean ave just outside the forest.
When I was there it didnt require one.,strange. I jist pulled the door and it opened right up.
We were turned away at the hotel entrance gate. The guard told us we weren't permitted out to see the lighthouse. Disappointing.
Free, you park at the first parking lot on the right for the hotel like employee parking don't go all the way to the hotel ..then across the street is the trail head...up over a little hill stay left at the fork and the lighthouse is there....less than 5 min walk from parking lot
