I lived at Post Rocky point for about 2.5 years and wanted to give an accurate review/make people aware of the issues in the complex. While there were constant maintenance issues, the maintenance team was awesome and responded to all calls quickly. They are probably the main reason I didn’t give the complex 1 star! The pools at the complex are great amenities, so no complaints there! The main issue is the lack of communication with management. It is very difficult to get a hold of them, and when you do get a hold of them, they don’t seem to care/help with any issue you may have. Half the time the resident portal is down which makes checking payments due/paying rent very difficult. Additionally, if you live in a unit without a washer/dryer, the community laundry rooms are quite disappointing. Usually there are only about 3-4 machines that are actually functioning out of the 16 machines in each center. When this is communicated to management, it takes them months to get anyone to come fix the problem. All in all, Post Rocky Point is extremely over priced for what you are getting. I guess that is most places now, but it’s better to be aware of what you are signing up for prior to signing a lease with them!

This apartment complex is beautifully landscaped and the maintenance staff are great but that is all that is good about the place. The parking is horrendous, the leasing staff is the worst I have ever dealt with, and they are price gouging just to make a profit. The company will not work with you but not only that they will not even communicate with you. Our unit had a leak from the AC unit above and we spent the night collecting water in a trash can. The floor was damaged but the leasing staff would not approve for the flooring to be repaired. Then when we moved out they jacked the rent up $600 per month. I would stay as far away from this place as you can.

My boyfriend and I moved in about 3 months. We love the apartment and all it has to offer. Very pet friendly and very friendly people as well. Unfortunately we have had quite a few maintenance issues in the past few months. Numerous maintenance requests have had to be put in. Which I understand things happen and things need fixed but our lights needed replaced within the first week, the smoke alarm wouldn’t stop beeping, the toilet wouldn’t stop running it got fixed then started leaking so they had to come back. The AC completely stopped working twice and both times had to do emergency maintenance requests. I emailed the email provided in the website to just express my concerns with so many things being wrong in a short few months, and not that I expected a solution but just a response would have been nice that they acknowledged my concern.

I just received my renewal offer and was pleasantly surprised to see only a $200 increase. I have lived here over 3 years and they want to charge me $350 to remove someone off my current lease (that ends on 5/31) even though I’d be signing a new lease by myself. I have paid my rent for over 3 years and had a portal issue and have been late 1 time in 36 months. So you’d rather lose a tenant that is on time and causes no issues and risk getting a new tenant that you have no history with? I will probably decide to move elsewhere after all everyone I know has also moved because there are zero negotiations with regards to anything. I had no issue with the $200 increase but why should I have to pay $350 to remove someone when all you have to do is draw up the new lease with them not on it? No thanks MAA…..you don’t treat your good tenants with any kind of respect at all. All these fees and we can’t get gates that work…….

Every community handles resident communication independently, but a good place to start is the MAA site and the Resident Login portal. Not only can residents pay rent online, they can submit and track service requests, check out online deals, and stay connected to news and events in their community.
We offer different types of housing, from studio apartments and garden apartments, to mid-rise buildings and everything in between. Whether you’re looking for a city setting or a more suburban feel, MAA has lots of options for your choosing.
Most of our communities are pet friendly and offer an array of amenities catered to pets, like pet washing stations and Bark Parks. Check out community pages for pet policies or learn more by visiting our website!
MAA has added virtual tours and self-guided tours in addition to in person with a leasing agent in order to ensure that you feel comfortable as you tour our communities. You can choose the way you want to tour each community by making a choice on the “Tour Your Way” page.
In general, you should hear from a leasing agent within 48 hours, but please note, processing times can be different from community to community.
They don’t offer furnished rentals as far as I know, but current rental rates are on the website.
I had to add an additional month after my lease was up due to an unexpected delay with my new home. The management is charging me over $2,600 for the month.
