Tonight I happened to stumble upon Zaatar by random. I ended up being delighted! I got the veggie entree and the falafel appetizer. The portions were huge and delish. Service was some of the best. Becca was an absolute sweetie. Very attentive and welcoming. I will definitely be back! Vegans and vegetarians, this is the spot for you!

It took almost ten minutes for the server to initially reach our table, and the restaurant was almost empty. I ended up leaving before I was served. It was a 100 degree day and water at the least could have been quickly provided. Based on other reviews, this may be an uncommon experience, but I will personally not be returning.

Not a satisfying meal. I bought two dishes: the falafel platter with a side of rice & the veggie kabob with a side of salad. Though the falafel was delicious and not super oily, the falafel platter doesn’t come with any vegetables... The rice and hummus were delicious. I didn’t get any pickles, even though the menu lists them as part of the platter. I wasn’t a fan of how the veggies tasted in the veggie kabob, but perhaps that’s just personal preference so I’m not including that factor in the ranking of the review. The ali baba bread was yummy. ‼️They are losing stars partially because they label dishes that contain yogurt as vegan. So I wasn’t sure if all the sauces that came with my “vegan” dish were actually vegan. 🗑🚮 They give out their meals in plastic bags, which is illegal in Baltimore City.

I love their shawarma of course! It's incredibly filling and delicious. Plus all of the staff were so friendly and caring and I liked that no one rushed our group to finish eating and bonding.
