RV generator was not running in recently acquired RV that had been sitting for a couple of years. Diag'd issue (mud wasp nest in vent tube) & cleared it as well as reset an improperly installed air filter. Made sure we started it and tested under load (ran heater) before leaving. Charged 3hours for time to diagnose & clean out. Straightforward, honest, even with telling us it would take a few weeks to find time to look at.

Now this is what you call customer service. Mike and crew are great. I'm a first time RV owner and I had generator issues. They fixed everything within a hour while I waited. Mike went thru all the sub-systems with me. I drove away with a lot more confidence then I drove in with. I would highly recommend J&D Power to anyone.

Horrible communication and Don't honor their estimates!! Dropped off my RV for a generator repair. Had to pay $85 upfront diagnostic fee. After removing it, determined the stator needed to be replaced. Estimate was quoted at ~$600. Took 3 weeks and every time I called was told as soon as the parts came in it was an quick and easy re-assembly. 1/2 the time when I would call, they wouldn't call back or no one would answer the phone. Then they found some springs needed to be replaced, but didn't mention any increase in estimate. When it was finally ready after 6 weeks the price was $1600. Of course, if I didn't pay it, they wouldn't release the RV. Not the first time they've pulled this scam. The NH Attorney General is reviewing their business practices.
