Dr.Lopez is GREAT! He has been my son’s doctor since his was 2 weeks old, my son is almost ten. We never had a concern or problem until today. Front office staff and office manager were very rude and unprofessional. From the moment we walked in the ladies in the front had an awful disposition, no greeting or good morning was given. However greetings were given to other patients and their parents. When I was asked for the insurance card and ID I advised the front office agent that I didn’t have the insurance card with me but it was the same as last time (February 2021). She begin to lecture me about the insurance card. I took my seat and the two co workers started discussing me after I was sitting in the waiting area. I asked the front office agent why they were discussing me and looking over at me when I was in the waiting area. I asked to speak to the office manager and she was just as unprofessional. She continued to lecture me about the insurance card, I advised that the card is the same card as last time and ALL the information is the same and the insurance company doesn’t mail out a new card if there wasn’t changes. She agreed and she her insurance company is the same and they don't mail out new cards. But then she goes on the tell me that I will need the insurance card when my son gets x rays. I drove twenty minutes back home to get insurance card and once we checked in at Cook Children’s for imaging NOBODY ASK FOR MY INSURANCE CARD. The office manager was very condescending, and never apologized for the front office staff. I assume it’s okay to discuss patients with other office staff, pick and choose who to greet and welcome into the office. The staff even mis stated the truth about a statement I made. There has been a lot of changes with the staff and it has a negative customer impact. Cook Children’s has great doctors but horrible front office staff and office manager. I feel that the color of my skin is why the staff tried to belittled me and was condescending.

My wife and I took our Daughter here to be seen by Dr. Deitchman, he and the staff were always very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating.

We have had 3 appointments at this clinic so far and have been incredibly impressed! We have been taking our newborn here since the day after he was discharged from the hospital. We have seen two different doctors and they have both been wonderful. His pediatrician, Dr. Nash is amazing. They are always able to get us in whenever needed and the nurses are great about answering this first time mom’s questions to figure out if we even need to bring him in for something. I called to try to get him an appointment for thrush and they just called in a prescription for us and we didn’t need to bring him in which is a relief in the middle of a pandemic. Highly recommend!
