These gardens are quite pretty. I wish we'd had more time to fully enjoy them. Unfortunately, it was difficult finding our way with a map and the signs. We'd come upon a sign that pointed somewhere we wanted to go, but when we reached the next fork, whatever we were looking for wasn't on the sign, so we were left wondering which direction to go. We wanted to see the floral clock but never could find it, and we were on a bit of a time limit, so we didn't get to see everything we wanted to.

This was my first time visiting Leu Gardens and I have to say the gardens surpassed my expectations. The photos I viewed online prior to visiting do not capture the beauty of the gardens (in my opinion). There are 50 acres to walk through. Paths wind around throughout the grounds and the garden well taken care of. There are a wide variety of plants and a bum er of stunning views. We had to wait in a line to purchase tickets and the ticket/gift shop area was busy. But once we got out into the garden, it didn't feel like there were a lot of people. We only had about 2 hours to spend here (and thought that should have been enough time) but quickly realized we needed more time to see and appreciate everything. We will definitely visit again.

Amazing place!!! One of the best place for nature lover in the City of Orlando. I loved this place because of it’s beautiful Green, lush vegetation. Have seen some flowers but this might not be the seasons for flower. Trees are nicely grown, and there are many locations that are well maintained. I will come back. So many varieties of trees, flowers and scenic spot for observing nature closely.

A beautiful set of gardens in Orlando The entrance is located at the intersection of Corrine Dr and N Forest Ave. The park takes up 50 acres on the south side of Lake Rowena. There are two parking lots. One is near to the main building and one is just to the south. Together they can hold about 150 vehicles. The entry is through the main building and costs about $15/person. The gardens are used for events. The day that we visited, there was a wedding event set up outside the house on the south of the grounds and the reception was set for the main building. It seemed a perfect place for it. The gardens are self-guided and have lots of paths to follow. Recently, they have made a “dragon” challenge treasure hunt that is a lot of fun. People have to find clues and decrypt the message that leads you to the treasure. The gardens have large dragons and night-time lighting for these very large creatures. The gardens are beautiful and have many paths and descriptions of the many plants around the grounds. Overall, this is a wonderful set of gardens that is very pleasant to walk through.

No. It's totally cashless, so you need debit/credit card to pay 10$ daily fee or 50$ for annual family pass if your a Florida resident. Never a parking fee and it's a walkthrough park. No rides there.
Yes! Plenty of shade and sitting benches. 😊
Cool beans enjoy!
Only service animals are allowed on property, No pets policy is active at Key Gardens.
Not close by (walking distance), but there are a couple near Rollins College in Winter Park, and several in downtown Orlando. About 10-15 minutes drive either way.
$10 per person for 1 day entry . Household annual membership is $50 and gets you into 17 Florida gardens and over 300 nationwide plus other perks
Hummingbird moth is the common name used for the genus Hemaris, which include: Hummingbird Hawk-Moth, Sphinx moth, Common Clearwing Hummingbird moth, Snowberry Clearwing Hummingbird moth, Five-Spotted Hawkmoth, and White-Lined Sphinx are all names for the hummingbird moth that you described. Google it. They are a fascinating little moth.
This is from the website: "Portrait photography (engagement/family photos) is permitted with paid daytime admission during the hours of 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., only one camera bag and tripod allowed in, no props and no dressing rooms." Times may vary depending on events scheduled.
They will probably charge you entry fees but don't think there will be additional cost to take pics.
To go in and take photos yes. However you have to pay to get in. Not sure of the exact price but it's somewhere around $20 for a family of 4. So not to bad at all. Very worth it.
Unless it is a service animal, they are not allowed.
No you cannot sit on the grass here. There are enough benches and tables where you can sit and enjoy a meal with your family.
Yes, you'll get a letter in about a week. Take good care of the passes they are only paper.
Per person
Really depends are you taking children to see the dinosaurs? About 1 hour. If you are going to see the flowers and take pictures, 2 to 3 hours
Yes, they are required when you enter the building. Now when you are in the garden you are welcome to remove mask but still keeping distance from other people
No. Parking is free, but admission is 10$ per person age3+ or annual family pass for 50$ which includes entry into Parks nationwide.
https://www.leugardens.org/visitor-information/ Bikes not allowed, but it us a wonderful garden and they have a fun "scavenger hunt" right now with the Fairy Doors Exhibit"
Yes, there are even benches set up that you could use - when in use it's for weddings/gatherings. But there is an amazing oak tree that is huge and beautiful that would be perfect to put a blanket under for a picnic.
Yes, you can bring drinks and snacks in. Alcohol might not be allowed though.
Yes! It is beautiful year round but best in Spring!
Yes. Leu Gardens is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. everyday of the year except December 25th.
$10.00 per adult, free parking, children $3.00 unless they changed it recently
I don't know but verify online because there's a day during the week that is free.
I'm very sorry, I don't speak Spanish, only English
No
I don't know, sorry. Check their website.
From what I could gather from the website, different garden clubs that meet at the Harry P. Leu Gardens, sometimes offer plants for sale. Check: https://www.leugardens.org/monthly-society-meetings/
Adult is $10, Child (ages 4-17 years) $5, Children (3 years and younger) Free
Adults $10 kids $5
Nope
I don't believe so.
Adult pricing is $10. However the first Monday of every month admission is free. Free First Monday Admission days will resume for the following dates: Monday, February 4, 2019 Monday, March 4, 2019 Monday, April 1, 2019 Monday, May 6, 2019
There are just a few vending machines and a coffee machine in the gift shop.
I was just there over the weekend. Adult $10 Child (ages 4-17 years) $5 Children (3 years and younger) Free
It depends on if you want to look at everything or have certain areas you want to see. I took some photos there and it took us about an hour and a half to walk around, but we were stopping a lot. if you want to enjoy everything, I'd say to give yourself from an hour to two hours.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids. Not aware of any discounts but they have free entry on selected dates: February 4, March 4 and April 1 of 2019. Admission is also free for moms on Mother’s Day and dads on Father’s Day.
Theres not a specific place to store it but I'm pretty sure they can accommodate given the size of the place.
Of course! You just need to pay admission (except for the first Monday of every month when it's free)
Yes and it is the first Monday on the month so it should be free. Call ahead to make sure.
No. Free wheelchairs
$ 10 per day
Yes, first open day off the month
Yes today is free. They close at 5pm August 6 and September 3rd are also free days as well
I believe the loop around the whole gardens is about 3 miles, but as everyone stated, you can cut through different areas to make it as long or short as you desire.
No scooters but they so have wheelchairs on a first come first serve basis
The first Monday is when it is free to public. As far as dogs they only allow service dogs.
Only place you can "picnic" at Leu are on the wrought iron -style tables and chairs on a patio immediately South of the main building. It's not covered but there's usually shade. There isn't a place anywhere in Leu Gardens to put a blanket on the ground for a picnic, but the patio is pretty nice. From their website FAQ: "Can we bring food? Yes, we allow small bag lunches on the patio of the Garden House Welcome Center. It is first come first serve."
You can do as much walking as you want. There are different paths through the different gardens.
I don't know if they offer photo shoots themselves but I recently went and saw a wedding there as well as couples throughout the park taking photos with a photographer.
It's not free however; there are special times through out the year when they have free admission so you would have to check those with them. They used to have free admission the 1st Monday of the month, but I don't know if they still do. $10 for adults, $5 for children 4 -17 and 3 and under are free.
No but the flowers and lego art out of this world
Close to $ 100.00 now, but this is not at Disney
Jr's Diner, BBB are both very close to Leu and good eats
Yes! No roses or azaleas blooming this year.
