My friends and I booked the Manatee Discovery Tour with Venture Outdoors and we got the best tour possible! Astrid is the kindest and most helpful tour guide you can imagine with a great knowledge of everything animals, plants and nature in general. We were not very experienced with kayaking but Astrid helped us out with endless patience and kindness. We got way more than we expected including a beautiful kayaking route throught the most beautiful sights, a delicious lunch by the water and a refreshing swim around manatees. This tour has all you could wish for but if you have the chance to book any tour with Astrid do yourself a favour and don't miss out!

My daughter and I went on the Manatee Kayak adventure with Astrid as our guide. This tour was TOP quality. It was the highlight of our week long Florida trip!!! If you have a chance to book with this company DO IT!! Don’t be afraid if you never have gone kayaking before. You will get all the tips and tricks when you arrive. Astrid gives personal attention to all of her adventurers. She always keeps her tours small. She is a wealth of information about nature and the wildlife of the Florida area. She was personable and got to know us too. Our 3 hours with her flew by. Her special touch was her snacks and lunch she brought for us. We left our time with her feeling like family.

I went on a Manatee Tour with Venture Outdoors and it was a fantastic experience. Our guide Astrid was quite personable and fun. She knew so much about all the wildlife and the surrounding area. We had a lot of fun with the manatees that came close to our kayaks and we also saw some small alligators. A wonderful experience that I would recommend anytime. Ask for Astrid as your guide she is awesome!

I've never done a Google review but Astrid is an amazing instructor! You can really feel that she's genuinely passionate about teaching and kayaking. For me personally, this was my first time kayaking. It was also my very first time sea kayaking. Although I'm now scheduled for swimming classes, I didn't know how to swim when I first kayaked with Astrid. But she made me feel so comfortable. Each time I felt uneasy in the water she reassured me. In addition to giving me verbal instructions, when needed she made sure to pull my kayak next to hers giving me a closer demonstration. She's caring, patient, and you'll certainly get a great value with Ventures Outdoors!
