Sunflowers aren't grown often in Florida but there is a large bush called the Mexican Sunflower that is evergreen and blooms in the winter.

Did not see any.... their trying to restore after damage from the hurricane. Highly recommended to visit.

I don't remember seeing thar section, but alot was damaged from hurricane Irene. Its reopened, but certain areas. I would call first.
