Long waits not very efficient. Sometimes life happens and scheduling an appointment 3 weeks away is not possible. Customer service representative was nice and knowledgeable if I could rate just her she would receive 5 stars.

Had an appointment still had to wait over an hour after my appointment time which was at 11:45am didn't get seen until 1pm they really need to figure this out. I can understand if u don't have an appointment then it would take longer but come on.

I give them one star because I need to do the review. They are racist and their customer service is horrible! My son had a road test appointment and just because he did not have an interpreter the guy canceled his appointment even when a lady that was there was willing to serve as interpreter. They were so rude and on top of that, now we have to wait another month and a half for the test.

I've been to many other lee county tax collector/DMV in Lee county. This is by far the worst one!!! I waited 2 hours after my appointment and was never called on before I left. The staff and management does not seem to know what they are doing. Other friends said they waited over 4 hours after their appointment. Also don't come in 10 minutes early for your appointment or they will tell you to wait till then to get your number. This location needs some serious help and new management

Need to make an appointment at renewal
Yes
Need to get a Florida drivers license . Moved from Virginia
Yes most certainly can all you have to do is go up to the receptionist tell her while you're there and she will give you a ticket but you'll have to wait a while
I need to make an appointment to have my license replaced. I have lost it
I believe its on walk in bases, I go a few times a month for boat sales and you just walk in grab a number and wait to be called. Unless its drivers test then you have to call or gamble on walking in.
Move to Canada
Go to the Tax office. There is one at merchants crossing at Pine Island Rd. & Cleveland.
No
Good luck if you don't make a reservation!!! You are out at the bottom of a very long list. Heck, you will have to wait a while even if you do have a reservation. Bottom line... Make an appointment!!
Proof of address, birth certificate, and passport should get you an id,
Just go there and figure it out
I believe as long as you have all the documents u need it doesn't matter who renews it. I'll ask when I get to the window.
I believe so
Yes, you will get a notice in the mail and or email
You would need to go online or call the DMV office and make an appointment.
You need to let the motor vehicle registration office know of color change and not sure if you have to pay to have the change recorded on your registration.
You must go to the DMV offices
Ok yes
Yes
Check the dmv online first. You may be able to request a new one without having to go in. If you can't request a new, I suggest making an appt to get one because most of the dmv are requiring appt still depending on what you need. They just opened a new office inside the court house in downtown Fort myers. They have been open a few months now, not many ppl know so when I went there was no one in line. They do walk ins. It's on the first floor. Security will direct you. Take all your proof of identity.
When you sign up for an appointment (as my knowledge appointment still recommended). Have your registration ppwk, your proof of insurance, and FL identication when you go in. They process the app. when they call your number. The FL plate is valid for 10 yrs and is transferrable between vehicles, you choose of you want 1 yr or 2 yr renewal tabs, cost for me was roughly $387 and we got new plate same day. When they file registration w/ the state of FL you can choose to have them print registration $10 immediately, mailed $2.50, or they can save electronically and print off for you when you need FL registration. I hope that helps!
No speak Spanish only English language
You can do it online via the website on the back of your driver license or ID card. You can also update your emergency contacts, email address, pay fees, and much more there as well.

Your can go online same day between 8:30-9:00 am to try and get a same day appointment. They aren't always uploaded at 8 a.m. However, it wouldn't hurt t log on at 8 am and keep trying until they are uploaded to grab an appointment.
You can also call the office to schedule if you don't have internet access
Yes. Appointments are necessary for everything right now.

No but it would probably be best because it has been a long wait 3 hours for me and 2 hours foru husband.
It's best to have one. I had to wait 3 1/2 hours the first time I went two weeks age. I made an appointment and was in and out in 30 minutes
Here's the link for what documentation you'll need. https://www.flhsmv.gov/new-resident/ I know Florida has a fee to register a car new-to-Florida that's around $250 but I'm not sure what your exact total would be with other registration fees.

1st you're going to have to make an appt at the DMV. They'll let you know what to bring to move forward. Good luck!

If it is a Class E FL DL with the Star in the cormer and no info is changing. Then you will not need to bring anything. We can look up your record by your SSN.
Your regular permit is ok..you will just get an updated DL.
If you hold a driver license from another state, you will not be required to take written or driving skill exams. Motorcycle endorsements may be carried forward from any state, except Alabama. You cannot hold a license or ID in two states at once; obtaining a Florida driver license or ID card will cancel any other state issued license or ID. Standard document requirements must be met for all applicants, even if you hold an out-of-state driver license. Customers who surrender a valid commercial driver license from another state can have all exams and endorsements (excluding HAZMAT) reciprocated and will not have to retake any CDL tests. Customers with a hazmat endorsement from out of state will need to complete the required knowledge testing and background check process in the state of Florida. Here's this link from www.Leetc.com for more details
