I have nothing but Atmos pride for the people working the tax office they’ve always treated me with kindness and a lot of patience with a 93-year-old father who thinks he can still get a drivers license but explaining that state IDs just as good nowadays takes a lot of compassion in these years and days making sure that he has a nice seat to sit in and escorts him to the seat while I go wait in line I mean the one that I use in merchants Crossing you guys do a great job I’m proud to do business with you… and with individuals who use the excuse of frustration of waiting try to imagine what it feels like behind the desk and you’re just doing your job and before you can open your mouth you are someone sitting in front of you who’s screaming at you about how long they had to wait when they said it a desk with the number and the computer says what number is next they don’t pick it but the public seems the need to Verizon soundboard all their grief and problems off of the poor lady on the other end of the line or the woman on the other side of the desk just doing a job we need to change your mind that’s a bit

Why make an appt so you can sit there for over 2 hours. Absolutely have no idea what they're doing. DMVs are always terrible but if you can't take appts at proper time don't make it appt only. This has to be the worst, most unprofessional dmv in SW Fl

Hi Maureen! While we recommend appointments we are taking a limited number of same day (or walk-ins) per service center. Whether the center can accommodate walk-ins depends on staffing. Appointments are recommended. Walk ins may be accepted, dependent upon lobby capacity and wait time. If accepted as a walk in, please be patient as wait times may be longer than usual. We also have a partner agency, First Lee Tag Agency, that is available to customers. They accept walk in as well as appointments.
