I brought five dogs and one cat for years. But when my cat, who was gravely ill due to a recluse spider bite, I was told that she could not be seen, three different calls. It was an emergency and was only told by Amy that the ER Vet does not open till 5pm, I hung up at that point and called Murabella Animal Hospital and within an hour she was seen and after 3 weeks my cat is much better and will recover. How can you advertise EMERGENCY CARE and not be able to recieve EMERGENCY CARE of their own patient. Amy was absolutely rude and nasty on the phone. Dr. Taggart did call and email and stated she would have seen her. Why do I have to fight to have an ER visit. I was not a difficult customer nor had I, an emergency visit before, I also had an appointment for the next week to get two of my dogs teeth cleaned with their physicals, of course I cancelled the appointment, because I had no faith in the practice any longer. I have spent thousands of dollars at this prectice, all to be completely disrespected.

I cannot say enough good things about this practice. They are absolutely amazing! From the nice people that answer the phones, the lovely people at the desk and of course all the vets. We have been looking for years for an amazing vet, we had our last vet for over 25 years, but we moved. After trying several places for minor things I finally found Antigua. They listen to you, understood what our treatment plan has been for years (we have a Cushing's dog) and we're more than happy to work with us. Had an emergency and they worked their magic and got us in. I am so happy we found them! I highly recommend them!

My dog had to have emergency surgery on a Sunday night at St. Augustine Regional and Monday morning needed to be moved to Antigua for observation. They welcomed me 30 min early and helped bring him in. I’m a very anxious dog mom and every time I called they were so gracious to give me updates. He ended up having to stay another night and Dr. Mock went above and beyond, dropping in after hours to check in on him. Every time I called Dr. Mock got on the phone to update me personally and explain how he was doing, next steps, and assuring me he was ok. Dr. Mock is one of the best and truly caters not only to the care of your pet but making sure you feel comfortable too.

I use Antigua as a vet however I have and would recommend using Wags and Wiskers or some other rescue group that gives huge discounts to go through them for the neutering
