We bring our dog to Shores for grooming by Crystal. He is a fairly curly labradoodle that has demonstrated anxiety with grooming in the past. We could tell immediately that he was at ease with her and his haircuts have been perfect. If Crystal can't do what we ask, she explains why and it is always focused on what is most comfortable for the dog. But no matter what, he always walks out of Crystal's grooming room looking like a million bucks and without stress or anxiety. It is well worth a little longer drive for this outstanding service from a wonderful person.

I love Shores Animal Hospital! My sweet little cat, Alex was not feeling well at all and they were willing to take him immediately! Dr. Drilingas is a wonderful doctor and took the time to explain all of the treatment options. I could tell that he was a very caring Vet. The staff was wonderful too, so nice and thoughtful and kept me informed while Alex was being treated. I now have a new Vet to take Alex!

I loved this place and I would recommend it to everyone in St. Augustine! My dog Oakley had a swollen eye and had drainage that was green/yellow. I was very worried for my baby. I immediately searched for vets online that wouldn’t charge me a lot of money and was struggling to find a veterinarian that I could trust and had good reviews within community. I called Shores Animal Hospital and I was able to bring Oakley the same day within the same hour of calling! When I arrived I was brought into a room where I waited for a staff member to come get my dog and explain what was going on in detail. I left my dog and came back in about 3 and was told Oakley had conjunctivitis (pink eye) which is such a relief since I thought it was much worse. I was very pleased with my visit and how professional the young staff is! They definitely have love for our fur baby’s we bring in

First of all, I called on Monday and they were able to take us on Wednesday. This was my first kitty cat in over 30 years. I was VERY Happy in how were were taken care of. From where I walked into their building till I paid and went home. My only wish is that at least 1 or 2 days a week they opened at 7:00am. Again, I’m very happy with how they treated us and her hair cut!!!

We offer the complete range of dentistry for your pet! From X-rays and extractions to polishing and tartar removal.
Currently we have 3 doctors working out of Shores, some are only available one day per week.
Yes, we are happy to see emergencies during our normal business hours.
For new clients we offer a free first exam and in general the office visit is $49.
Our grooming packages include a bath, haircut, blow dry, nails trimmed, teeth brushed and glands expressed. Luxury packages, shave downs and more are also available, the pricing is based on weight and we are happy to give you updated pricing over the phone or email!
We see exotics for basic care such as wing trimming or nail clipping. For serious medical situations we recommend an Exotics Veterinarian.
Sorry to hear about Mily. If your dog is vomiting repeatedly or if it’s unusual for your dog to vomit, we recommend you bring her in for an exam. We do not recommend giving her anything other than her normal food at this time. Let us know if we can help!
