I bought a McDaniel for a 5 inch 1911 that he had in stock and after 9 months of use. It's still my go too and one of the most comfortable holsters I have used. I'm still currently waiting patiently for a wallet to be made that was placed in Q4 2020. I know times are tough right now with the supply chain issues, but I know its gonna be worth it.

Last week I picked up 2 holsters for my 1911’s. The quality, workmanship and durability are second to none. They are by far the best holsters I own. I’m fortunate to live only a few miles from Sam’s place of business so I was able to meet him and he was nice enough to show me a few things he’s working on in his shop and answer a couple of questions. I didn’t want to keep him away from his work too long but honestly I could have spent hours at his place. I was so impressed with my holsters and Sam’s operation that I ordered another …… but he warned me that production time is about a year out. Believe me, it’s worth the wait. So if you want the best be patient— you won’t be disappointed.

Great guy and his friendly cat Ricochet. Lots to see in his new shop location. The pictures below is a small token of my appreciation that I made for his shop and hand delivered from Homestead FL. I felt as if I was meeting someone famous. No need to talk about his skills and his fine talent when it comes to what he loves to do. Andrew's holsters speaks for it's self. Dear Mr Reaves I still use a lot of tools from Tandy leather, also Osbourne leather tools. My knives for cutting are just the large handle Xacto knives withe the #24 blade for cutting and the #2 blade for trimming. Yours Truly Sam Andrews
