Their cider donut is the best donut I have ever enjoyed. Relatives raved about them and I had planned to visit. Magically, they were served at the wedding I attended a day after I heard of this shop and I ate six (6!!!) and then more the next day! PERFECTION!!!

Excellent doughnuts and okay coffee. It's really tasty if you like really sweet food. Variety of vegan and gluten free options as well.

Just finished riding the Erie Canal Trail from Buffalo to Albany over 7.5 days and immediately found our way to Cider Belly for two vegan doughnuts. Hot damn they’re delicious!!! 😋💞

Awesome donut shop! So many flavors! They have seasonal flavors. The donuts range in price for $1-$3. There are vegan options. There are gluten free options (however they are fried in the same oil as regular donuts so not recommended for Celiac's or anyone super sensitive to gluten this is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5). I have a gluten intolerance but I was able to eat 4 gluten free donuts in 1 day without symptoms. Their cranberry orange flavor is amazing! The gluten free doughnuts all have the same base doughnuts, just different flavored toppings and icing. If you are there early in the morning you will have a better chance of getting gluten free doughnuts. Call ahead if you can like the day before to make sure you have some set aside for you. They now put dobuts in boxes if you get 12 or more I think.

They do have vegan doughnuts.
Yes they do have a couple vegan options.
Call them and ask. Or have a friend that lives in Albany send them for you
Yes we are. We don't use any nuts inside any of our doughnuts. If we use nuts which is rare, they'll be used as a topping. We keep those doughnuts completely separated from the other doughnuts. Just let us know you have a peanut allergies when you come and we'll do our best to accommodate you. You can even give us a call the day before so we make sure not to use any peanut products the day you'll be in as well. Nick - Manager
