My husband and I came here to celebrate our 2 year anniversary, and we had an unforgettable experience! The views alone make this place worth a visit for a special occasion, but other than that, the food and drinks were also wonderful. I will say, be fully prepared to spend a lot of money, but I do think it’s worth it. The menu is a fixed price menu ($180 per person which included an appetizer, entree, dessert, and some chef samples along the way), so definitely look into that on their website before you go. There is also a dress code (jackets for men, etc.). The staff was so kind and attentive, and they made us feel very special on our anniversary, even bringing out a dessert that had “Happy Anniversary” written on it. This was truly the most memorable dining experience we have ever had. We highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Stunning interior paired with mesmerizing views. Every dish was excellent, satisfying, and so memorable. Their menu changes frequently so my recommendations may be outdated - however I suggest any lamb dish, fresh yellowtail, and the apple souffle.

From my arrival to the end of the meal, the staff was amazing! So friendly, professional, and polite. The food is delicious and the presentation is top-tier. The amazing views are definitely another reason to dine here. I mean who doesn’t want to say they’ve basically fine dined under the Brooklyn bridge?! From birthdays to anniversaries, The River Café is a restaurant well worth a visit. Just be sure to book in advance, you’ll be thankful you did.

We couldn’t have better things to say about this Brooklyn wedding venue. As wedding photographers at Megan & Kenneth, this was hands down one of the best event experiences for the couple, guests, and vendors alike. The entire staff was attentive, warm, and professional. The food was exquisite with beautiful plating and flavor combinations. Their ceremony space was intimate and perfect for a micro-wedding in the heart of the city. With sweeping skyline views, the River Café is a truly unique and versatile Brooklyn wedding venue. We can’t wait to come back and photograph this gorgeous restaurant event space, from the inside, to the deck, to the perfectly manicured garden.

The views are magnificent 24/7 - 365 so if it is views you are looking for to take your breath away... no worries there. The setting creates an unforgettable atmosphere. However, beware! The culinary experience will take your palate into another dimension served by highly trained staff.
They serve breakfast Monday - Friday. Open 8:30 - 11:30 for breakfast.
Currently for dinner it is $130/person, lunch is $47/person, and brunch $60/person. Taxes, beverages, and gratuity not included.
I called them before I visited and went with smart shoes, chinos, shirt and tie and a jacket. At that point I was under dressed compared to a lot of men but just went with what I had while visiting NY.
Yes , and is a beautiful lunch & view!!!
Yes.
I will find out for when I make the next delivery
The staff took multiple pictures of us including the pic I posted so I'm not sure what triggered them to ask you to leave but the restaurant promotes taking pics in their restaurant.
Sophicated, beautiful scenery, see the ferry boats load and unload, most of all the beautiful skyline of Manhattan while dining and sitting in the Hudson river .well isn't that something to live for !or dream of.
Hi. You must book your dinner. It' s a very concurred place. I don' t know if there is any special package for this events. Good luck!
Yes. Very expensive. However it's one of the most unique dinning experiences in the city...so save up and treat yourself!
The River Cafe fulfills those fantasies I developed watching Nora Efron type movies. It is just wonderful especially in December. When we decided to go next month the first thing I did was make a reservation at River Cafe!
Yes. My date made the reservations on open table.
Yes they are ....had brunch ...no dress code..
Look up their menu at https://rivercafe.com. lunch is $47 and dinner is $138 per person. Extra for dessert, wine, etc.
Dessert is extra.

Yes, and Valets also excellent Service and delicious food also Grandmaster Kim
Yes should not be a problem
Probably OK but I would check with the restaurant directly to be sure. Excellent choice though. Enjoy
Yes, especially for dinner. Jackets are required for gentlemen for dinner and anytime after 4 PM. Ties are preferred. Weekend Lunch and Brunch can be slightly casual, but too casual is never allowed. Appropriate footwear is required at all times.
Depends what you think is expensive. Glass of wine (red) was $14.00. regular nyc prices in Brooklyn.
There's a covered outdoor seating section. It's not as regal as the main dining room but it's pretty special and feels like you're right on the water
And.
If I were you I would call them
The best. She will love it
Cost about 500 dollars but well worth
They usually offer prix fix menu. I suggest you call bright an early to reserve and confirm menu Hope this helps...
I concur with everyone's assessment, not hard to make reservations, but do so in advance.
