YES-On Oct 6, 2017 my husband & I took the Ferry-DUMBO/Brooklyn from Pier 11 Wall St. Across to the,River Cafe . The ride is a few mintes $4/ person and the Cafe is a very easy walk once off the ferry on the other side. As you get off ferry, you can see the Cafe and just need to walk around the corner to 1 Water Street. We had a lovely dinner and had a magnificent view of Manhattan PAULA CALLAHAN
Walking is nice especially early in the morning. Later in the day it gets very busy.
Yes! It is a long walk. Or take the Subway to cross the river and have a nice walk from the Station to River Cafe.
