I was in and out in about an hour and a half (which is much faster than any other clinic I’ve been to) the staff was super friendly and professional, i usually prefer female doctors but the doctor (patrick i believe?) made me feel extremely comfortable so i didn’t even question it. The facility was very clean and i had a really good experience overall 100% recommend

Not a bad location to have to go to in an emergency. Most of the staff is pleasant. The INP Jeannette Humphrey is amazing. She takes the time to listen (actually examines) her patients and takes time to explain what is wrong. She cares for her job and for that I give her 5 Stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!! Thank you Med Express for finding such a wonderful NP to join your practice 😊

Terrible customer service. Brought daughter in for a physical injury. While at the counter signing in a doctor stepped out and addressed the other kids I brought demanding they put masks on. They were in the corner away from anyone patiently waiting quietly. Adults should not address children directly if that child's adult isn't right there. Then they wouldn't see us without masks. Went to Care 1 instead, quicker service, more attentive, and no mask required.

I haven’t been feeling too good lately so my wife suggested that I get a covid test. She called MedExpress and asked if they take Sunshine Health Medicaid. They told her yes. So I got here at 9:00 when they opened and called the phone number, like they asked. They asked for my name, date of birth, and phone number. They said they would call me when it was time for me to check in. I sat here for an hour and 20 minutes before I got the phone call to get checked in. It wasn’t until this moment that they asked what insurance I have. When I said “sunshine health Medicaid”, they said they don’t have a contract with them. When I asked why wouldn’t you ask that before making people wait, she said they didn’t have time to ask every customer! They also told me that patients “usually know” if their insurance is accepted before they come up. When I said how would they know, she said they would need to look online at their website. I said “or they could call right”? Like my wife called yesterday. She said sorry and that was it. This is disgraceful and the lack of empathy to think of patients and the time they waste when they can ask the simple question in the beginning. Make sure you have it in writing, what insurance they accept, before you go here.

Do you except United Health Care of New York?
The COVID-19 rapid antigen test generally provides results during your visit. Depending on your results and our health care professional’s evaluation of your symptoms, a COVID-19 send-out PCR lab test may also be conducted to provide a more accurate diagnosis. Please note - timing of results may vary due to demand. Hope this helps!

Yes, MedExpress is proud to offer patients the option of a Virtual Visit. Speak with one of our providers from the comfort of your home with secure video conferencing. All appointments subject to availability. Patients must be physically located in states where service offering is available in order to utilize this service. Prescriptions require a visit with one of our providers, and we may potentially prescribe limited prescription refills. However, we cannot provide refill prescriptions for controlled substances or birth control.
Yes. MedExpress can help with referrals to other healthcare providers, such as hospitals, specialists, and primary care physicians (PCPs), after treating you as a patient. We want to make sure our patients get the follow-up care they need. However, it’s important to know that we’re only able to provide referrals if our provider deems it appropriate for the patient’s condition.
MedExpress can provide initial STD testing at all of our locations.
MedExpress does not provide routine gynecological or OB care, which includes conducting ultrasounds and prescribing birth control. However, we can conduct pregnancy testing after a medical evaluation and provide medical treatment to pregnant women who are being seen for a minor illness or injury.
If you’ve visited us as a patient, MedExpress can help make a mental health referral for new symptoms, but we also encourage you to reach out to community resources. If you have insurance, the 1-800 number on the back of your card will connect you with someone who can help with in-network referrals.
MedExpress provides convenient and affordable physicals for a variety of reasons, including school physicals, sports physicals, daycare physicals, DOT physicals and work-related physicals. Please visit our website for specific information related to your needs and availability in your area.
Our full medical team will gladly evaluate anyone in need of medical care and help decide the best plan of treatment. However, chronic medical conditions are best handled by a PCP, who can offer a long-term treatment plan. It’s always important to remember that if you think you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
Our providers do not prescribe glasses or contacts. However, our full medical team can help with eye-related illness or injuries, such as pink eye. If further specialized treatment is needed, we can refer you to an eye specialist.
For dental pain and tooth aches, our providers can evaluate you and may prescribe antibiotics, if needed. From there, we can refer you to a dentist, as they are the best professionals to consult for any dental needs.
MedExpress offers many immunizations for adults, including the flu vaccine and Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, whooping cough vaccine); however, there are some regional variances in vaccine availability. It’s always best to call your local center first to see if the immunization you’re looking for is in stock. As for children, MedExpress does not provide routine child immunizations with the exception of annual flu shots (for children ages 4 and older) and tetanus shots (if needed due to an injury).
MedExpress treats a wide variety of injuries and illnesses, including sprains, flu, skin ailments – such as poison ivy and cellulitis – urinary tract infections, strep throat and more. Our centers have the necessary equipment onsite to provide top quality care. If deemed necessary, our medical professionals can complete X-rays, laboratory services (such as strep tests and urinalysis), EKGs, stitches and more. For a complete list of all our offerings, please visit our website.
MedExpress’ providers will evaluate and treat patients of all ages, including infants. Depending on the presenting symptoms, infants need to be directed for further evaluation, but our team of clinicians can help to determine the best plan of treatment. While MedExpress will evaluate anyone – regardless of age – who visits one of our centers, our providers may decline to treat infants (6 months or younger) and refer them back to their pediatrician or ER, where they can receive the best possible care.
MedExpress is proud to be a VA authorized urgent care provider. If you opt for self-pay, you will be required to pay at the time of your visit either with cash, check, debit card or credit card. At this time, MedExpress does not accept CareCredit.

Yes, they can do a quick test for biliruben in urine. Just come prepared to give a sample. Keep in mind, this is only done as a part of a full urgent visit. It is not done as a single test only.
It's currently $119 to be seen for basic things, which is about half of what they usually charge insurance. For that you also get a Free return visit for the same symptoms within 10 days. Yes, you heard right - free. Keep in mind that x-rays, shots, and extra procedures can raise the price, but the highest they go is $239, so much cheaper than the ER if it's not an emergency!
You will most likely receive a prescription that will require you to treat at home. They do not apply medication and comb out the lice, no. This takes a really long time! If you do it right at home, and take your time, you'll be okay.
Please call for updated info.
Sometimes there are changes in what insurances they accept, so please call them and ask before you arrive. As of the time of this answer, they do not currently accept Sunshine, but this could change, so please call for updated info.
