The best thing to do is give us a call and talk to a representative who can check what you are looking for. We have a huge selection of hardwoods that are great for garden benches, decks and more.
We can custom cut, the best bet is to call and ask to speak to someone regarding what your exact needs are.
Our Florida facility will buy some select species of logs. We generally work with tree companies who bring the logs to us that we have specified. We do not buy on the spot you would need to call and speak with someone first.

There will be very little shrinkage with Ipe so keep that in mind. A small space for drainage would be recommend but I do not think it is required. Special clips are typically used for hold down as well as spacing. Theses clips are available at Advantage Lumber.
