Visited November of 2021. Was passing thru Sarasota en-route to Ana Maria Island and decided to take a quick detour to take a photo @ Unconditional Surrender statue. All while decided to take a few photos of the local marina which to my surprise has a lot of traffic. Very clean overall. It even offers an in-house sales office for those in the market for a boat of any preference. Highly recommend to visit park. Just make sure to bring yourself and an empty drive to take plenty of photos : )

Good selection of boats. Mediocre service. Parking is a real challenge and quite far away and requires that you carry a permit to and from your car at the start and the end of your trip.

My father in law rented a boat On Monday & once again it was a HORRIBLE experience! The boat we were suppose to get wasn’t running, then had us walk way down to the other end while the guys argued about what boat to put the 8 of us on! We rented a pontoon and was going to put us on a fishing style boat! Then they had us walk to the other end of the dock to get on a boat that had just came In. Again NOT HAPPY with their service and I do NOT recommend Freedom Boat Club. We’ve rented boats at least 5-7 times and every time it has been HORRIBLE!!!! Glad I do not pay the fees! Ridiculous!!! Maintain your boats!!!!

We absolutely love being FBC members but when we used this location for a reciprocal reservation- WOW! What an amazing experience. Not only can we not recommend the club enough but now this location is the top of our visiting club list!!! The staff is great!

FBC provides basic intermediate and advanced small vessel training. You can use many center console 90 hp and 150 hp 17' to 21' boats for rent. I don't think they provide angler training. I might be wrong....
Marina Jack's and Palmetto both do, Hidden Harbor does not. Also, I'm the manager at the Venice Laguna location, so if you have any other questions, feel free to ask me.
