I had a house fire and AmFam used a preferred vendor Rainbow Restoration to estimate loss leaving out over half the toxic smoke damages at best. I made a complaint and received a call from supervisor Patrick Lile who promised a full complete inspection but lied and only allowed a partial inspection leaving out toxic damages again. The inspector Daniel Barnes who I met at the house said that he was instructed to only partially inspect hundreds of other claims the past year saving AmFam millions of dollars. Mr. Lile received the inspection report a week after the inspection but denied having it for months stalling my claim for 6 months and will not reveal it. Mr.Lile closed my claim and changed his email and was told doesn’t work there anymore. More lies from AmFam because he is no longer a supervisor. AmFam made him a agent and is trying to hide him up in St.Joseph Mo. I am reaching out to anyone who has had AmFam as their carrier and report any bad faith and or fraudulent activity to classaction.org This fraudulent activity which was authorized by upper management began in 2018 to the present. After a tragedy don’t be victimized twice.
