Do not ever go to this Service station. They should be investigated for how they conduct business. I brought my car in and stated the symptoms. They said it will cost approximately $500 unless they discover one item is damaged in which it would be an additional $250. After spending $800, the same symptoms occurred 2 days later. I brought it back and said, it’s your A/C. It will be an additional $1,300. I asked how can it be when it’s the same symptoms as what you supposedly fixed. We thought it was the coolant since that it’s what it is most often. So they guess with your money. Save your money, you’ve been warned.

Sams auto is the best! I highly recommend. They fixed my Toyota Camry when no one else in Sarasota or Bradenton could. Everyone else said there was no way to repair it but Sam's fixed my car for a decent price and they didn't take too long doing the repair. This is the place to go!

It should be noted that I didn't use this business, however, my elderly mother did use them. She was driving her 2000 Camry when it overheated. She took it to Sam's because she was close and because she had used them before. The diagnosis was a "blown head gasket" and the estimate was $3,600 to repair it. Of course, the car is not even worth that much. We left with the estimate, but not before one of the mechanics handed me a business card saying that if we decided to junk the car he'd take it off her hands for $500 to "use for parts"(supposedly for a relative's car that's the same yr/model). At that point, something didn't feel right. The long and short of it is that, yes, I got a second opinion and was given a diagnosis of, 1) a faulty radiator cap, and 2) some loose hose clamps. So, a new cap and some tightened hose clamps, then pressure tested for leaks and out the door for 200 bucks. The car has been running perfectly ever since then, and not one drop of coolant (or anything else) on my mom's garage floor. What took place is indefensible, so I seriously hope no one tries to defend it, because it won't go well. [EDIT] as predicted, the auto repair service in question has now offered their defense (rationale) for why they arrived at their diagnosis, which is curiously now one of two things, not just one thing. While it's true that cars with blown head gaskets can be driven for very limited amounts of time, this wouldn't be without any of the classic symptoms, which are: 1. white smoke coming from the tailpipe, 2. bubbling in the radiator and coolant reservoir, 3. unexplained coolant loss with no leaks, 4. milky white coloration in the oil, 5. engine overheating. The Camry has none of the above and it's been driven daily for over a month, both long and short distances. Given the multiple reviews that describe similar experiences customers have had, I will be sticking to my above assessment, and readers can do the math and arrive at their own conclusion.
