We booked a cab and it never turned up inspite of following up couple of times. Next day when the hotel booked the can from the same company, the driver was very rude. He expected us to know the rules of country being tourists. He abused us when we got out of the van. He didn’t even know of our drop off place. We finally had to book Uber in both situations. Utterly rubbish service.

Place first call to order a ride at 18:23 from Kincaid Chalet back to my hotel. After several more calls, It is currently 21:05 and I am still waiting, standing in the parking lot, hoping against hope, that a car will turn up after more then 2.5hrs. I would have been better off walking the hour to the nearest bus stop. At least then, I would have been making forward progress.

One weekend evening I requested a ride around 11pm. I waited outside (I was locked outside of the apartment complex) for about 25 minute for the cab. As I got into the cab he turned around and said "How are you paying sweetheart?" I said "By card if that is okay?" Driver: "Sorry, my card reader isn't working right now. I can only take cash." I was already annoyed because I was waiting out in the cold for a long time - I rolled my eyes and said, "Well never mind then I don't have cash, I wish the dispatcher would have told me BEFORE I had to wait out in the cold, and now I'm locked outside the apartment. Thanks." and I left the cab. 1. Why wouldn't your card reader work on a weekend? Don't you get plenty of people getting rides use card payment? 2. Maybe dispatch should ask if the customer is paying cash or card and they can verify if the drivers are having any technical issues that they can only accept cash or vice versa another incident - I was getting a pick up from Merrill Field Inn, and I waited in the Lobby, as the dispatcher had instructed me to do so - and as I was walking out of the lobby, the driver had pulled up, stopped and just reversed out as soon as he came in. Didn't even give me a chance to get out the door. I called the cab again and told them I literally watched the cab pull up and reverse right back out. the dispatcher told me "They reported that as a no show." Me: "No show? He didn't even give me a chance to walk out the lobby." He apologized and sent another cab. Sorry I don't mean to complain but these incidents are very annoying especially when people have busy schedules. Please work on the communication skills between dispatcher and drivers.

Nearly collided with the operator of this vehicle this evening. Said driver was positioned in the left lane as I approached in the right. He had plenty of time -- many seconds -- to see me coming, and chose to cut me off just as I caught up to where he was. Appeared to do so only to turn around in the adjacent parking area at a Boniface strip mall, though he almost could not have timed it better if he were trying to cause an accident.

Same thing hung up on me when I just because I couldn’t understand what a question was about my location. Called back and I’ve been waiting for my cab for an hour and a half. And it’s not the first time! Late for work
Yes the same happened to me as well, there were additional rides added even though i only got driven once, and then regular charges to my credit card at multiple gas stations throughout the day all over town for 2 straight days after i got a cab to and from work. The dispatch was evasive and hung up on me everytime i tried to call and get it fixed or learn the cab#. Very shady company.
Yellow Cab Of Alaska provides many services in addition to transportation. Vehicle unlock is one of them. They also provide battery jumpstarts.
