Do not expect honest or straight forward or honest recommendations from this Midas. I had my vehicle at another shop to have a leaking front differential repaired. The shop told me the differential was leaking because of a related failure in a recently replaced CV joint, and that I should call whatever shop (or chain) originally replaced the CV joint to see if I had warranty coverage before he proceeded. I called this Midas, and they informed me on the phone that CV boots had a lifetime warranty. The young lady on the phone even put me on hold to "verify that I had a lifetime warranty" on the CV boots. So I paid my $150 inspection fee at the first shop and moved my vehicle across town to this Midas. When I dropped the vehicle off, she again confirmed that the CV boots were covered by lifetime parts and labor warranty. A couple hours later, I received a call from the store manager informing me they had taken apart the area needing repair, and found that the differential needed replacing. Additionally, he informed me the CV boots would need to be replaced as well, and they were NOT covered by warranty, as I was initially told. He also informed me I would owe another $150 for their diagnosis of the problem. I tried to calmly work out some sort of reasonable resolution with the store manager, but they have refused to do anything to make it right to this point. THIS IS JUST WRONG. I paid to pull vehicle out of another shop because I was told I had warranty, and then had to pay a second diagnosis fee to learn what I already know was likely the issue based on the first diagnosis. This is the wrong way to go about getting business!! One other thing...If you do choose to take your vehicle to this Midas even after reading this, be aware of what vehicle repairs they recommend to you. This shop recommended I have my shocks and struts replaced, because they were OEM and had more than 80,000 miles on them. This was just wrong too, because I had a different Midas replace the shocks and struts just 35,000 miles ago! When I asked the manager about this, he said his technicians always flag the shocks and struts for replacement if the vehicle has more than 80,000 miles on it, regardless of what the shocks and struts actually look like. BEWARE! I will say they did complete the work in what I believe to have been a timely fashion. We will see how long the repair holds.

I made an appointment to check my brakes. When I arrived on time they said I had no appt. I showed them my phone call record and she remembered talking to me. I waited 5 hours to get the inspection. They recommended an oil change. I showed them the jiffy lube sticker from 3 weeks ago and a full dip stick. The battery didn't pass the test. But it works great. They said I needed everything about brakes. Cost $$$ 2200. My rear brakes were done at the dealer 11000 miles ago. So I wasted a day....but before I left the imcompetent mechanic slammed my ft end into the wall instead of backing out. Then the guy who backed it out left a greasy carpet for me. I know it's hard to find help but these folks were I competent.

They said the starter on my 2002 Nissan X-Terra needed replaced and it would be $929.46!!! Then pressured me to make a decision right away. I did my own digging and got a new starter for $114 and found a mechanic to install it for $100! You can't seriously tell me the labor on that equaled $815!!! Plus, I'm sure they could get the starter even cheaper through their suppliers. Also, when I went to pick it up they charged me $149 just for looking at it!!! Don't go here unless you want to be scammed!

Under Steve’s management this place has become my go to shop for my personal rig and all of my fleet vehicles. Steve is a straight shooter and works hard to deliver great customer service and excellent results from his team in the shop. 6/5 if I could.
