Neighbor is building a large permanent structure. No building permit displayed. Structure appears to be over the property line. Reported to code enforcement. Officer called me to say he drove by the property and it looked like no one was home. A month later the construction continues, with no permit on display.

Had an issue with a neighbor having buckets of standing water and making it an ideal for breeding mosquitos. Called OC Code the representative was nice, professional and responsive to my concerns. Got OC Mosquito control to come out to neighborhood and investigate. I guess I got lucky with good customer service today!

Reported this last month, code enforcement says it's in compliance. Lots of mosquitos breeding in these tires and another three on the side. This rooming house is always in violation, Orange County does nothing

The lady that answers the phone is very unprofessional and rude. She sounds like she has gum in her mouth, her annoyance of answering phones has her smacking her lips and sucking her teeth as if she if being FORCED to work. I was simple calling in to see exactly who i needed to speak to about an issue, needless to say she hung up on me because i didn't "listen" to her when she told me to "be quite"! YOU'RE A JOKE IF THATS WHO IS REPRESENTING THIS PLACE! GREAT JOB

Thank you all. Problem has been solved.
Is the rooster hurting you physically? Id stop complaining and let it roam, who cares, they eat weeds and bad insects in your yard. Unless it is attacking you or pets id let it roam and mind your own business
Im not sure. But in Lockhart at 5179 Gwynne Ave there is a landlord who takes advantage of men released from prison and turns a 3 bedroom very small home into 6 bedrooms and shoves guys in there with no AC, no fans, alot of insects and bugs. He gets a check from the state. But in reality its inhumane and he is a slum lord. His name is VJ Singh of Yahu Properties, LLC
You are able to make a public records request at ocfl.net use the 311 option or call 4078363111.
Tia is correct. You definitely will need a permit for building, electrical and plumbing.
Yes, just not in the front of house. "Unoccupied recreational vehicles may be stored within any residential district, after the owner obtains a permit from the Zoning Division. RV’s may be parked 10’ from side property line and at least 5’ from rear property line."
Per code 4 people.
Many communities have HOAs that prohibit Recreational Vehicles to be parked in public sight
Code enforcement on33rd street will be able to tell you if the issue can be resolved from their office. The 3 other offices downtown will not
If you are in unincorporated Orange County it depends on where the tree fell from. If the tree is on the county easement or right of way you can contact 311 to do a report. If the tree fell from a private property it will be a civil matter between the two property owners.
Check with orange county call them they will tell you what to do
My daughter have a landlord doesn't want fix the AC...one of the kids have asthma condition!
Unfortunately there is no code regulating floor coverings. As long as the subfloor or structural is not changed no permit is necessary.

Unfortunately there is no ordinance regulating trees, shrubs, plants etc. However you can pursue civil remedies against your neighbor. You should consult an attorney
You absolutely need a permit. Call 311 from your cell phobe that's zoning. They will tell you what you need to get permit.
Myrtles are pretty. Why not try talking with the occupant that lives within 50ft of you.
Owners of a rental home are only required to carry insurance that covers damage to the house. The renters should have renter's insurance to cover their belongings.
