They say they are a dog friendly hotel but only accept dogs in certain rooms. I made a reservation using booking and mentioned that I would bring my dog and the hotel replied to me saying the room I chose was not pet friendly, so I canceled my reservation. When I tried to call them and update the reservation to make sure I would reserve a dog friendly room, they said that they did not had any options but would be happy to welcome me if I decided to leave my pet home… This hotel needs to make sure people are better informed about this policy of allowing pets in only certain rooms. The good things is that I did asked the question, but how bad it would be drive for many hours and getting to the hotel to learn my pet would not be allowed.

Nice neighborhood to stay, close access to the beach and many restaurants. Beautiful view of the pond or lake. There's rental for paddleboats. It's a walking distance to the beach and Fisherman's wharf. The lodge has a swimming pool, hot tub and cute garden with seats. This room has a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, coffee machine, a full-sized refrigerator and stove-tops. Also have plates, bowls and utensils. It's nice if you want to cook your own meal. They did allow us to check in slightly early. There's room service but we didn't need it. The bathroom could need some more remodeling. It traps lots of moisture from the shower. The carpet needs replaced. It's so old. The living room area is nice with the hardwood floor but it could overall be nicer.

Made reservation directly to Lodge .. a little cheaper than Booking.com. We've always pass this place. Never knew how great this place until we research for a nice N reasonable place for our Anniversary trip. Loved this place... Cheery color yellow n blue inside, wood floors, offered wifi n and they have the lamp where we can charge our electronic devices, fireplace, microwave n fridge, very clean rooms, and nice outside patio. Also we were 1 1/2 block from beach. Took a walk one morning to the beach n to the wharf. Had Calamari n clam chowder. And the Lodge nearby Lake. You can rent paddle boats. We just enjoyed that walk. We were gone for 2 1/2 hrs. Wonderful morning to spend together n enjoying the Scenery. Will definitely come back 💖

Exceptional the parking! Close to everything if you're a walking type awesome!! Beautiful layout inside the room. It's a beach bungalow and very clean. Upstairs room is very nice. If you need a downstairs room I'm sure you can get one. I love the lighting by the pool... I wish I could stay here longer..
