The only positive side of this hotel is Location. Rooms are not maintained and need complete remodeling. The price they charge for a room is worse than an motel. View from reception and rrh floor restaurant is good.

I gave it two stars only because of the location. Other than that, read the bad reviews because they are spot on! When you walk in you think oh wow! this place is stunning, the ambiance, the view, the outdoor patio, the bar, yes! looks just like the photos.. but the rooms!! omg! I could not even walk barefoot because the carpet was so gross. The windows, doors, walls, all dirty.. The bathrooms were eh. There should have been more to offer with the price you pay to stay here. No bell service or help, the elevators were nasty, doors to go in and out of the hotel from the outdoor decks need to be replaced, graffiti on the walls of the concrete barrier, what else. All I have to say is spend the extra dollar and stay at the Sanctuary in Marina. They will treat you like royalty and the rooms are tidy!

Worst hotel ever ! All the negative reviews for this hotel are absolutely true ! AC - was too loud, noisy neighbors, sheets were untidy, beds were uncomfortable, tv remote had no batteries, room was smelly. We overpaid for this room $550. Avoid this place as the beach front was also not great. Don’t fall for the beach front !!! Instead book a motel and walk to the beach. One star only for the welcoming staff both @ reception and the bar.

Beds were uncomfortable, and the elevator was VERY sketchy. It didn’t have a motion sensor, it got stuck for a couple minutes while I was in there, and it was very insanitary. I was on the fourth floor, so I used it a lot. It was TERRIFYING. There was much more wrong with the motel, but this was main stuff. Still happy to be back and it’s been about a year.🤮

Pronably. The reception people are pretty nice. There just aren't enough of them. Don't be surprised if you asked to wait. There may only be one person on the desk. Expensive place, but not even 4 star service

Yes. I reccomend going to the very nearby Home Depot and getting wood and duraflame logs. You will pay less than what Monterey Tides charges. You can also get supplies for smores and more at the grocery there too.
No...but they have a wonderful restaurant on the 4th floor. It's a bit expensive. We spent $80 on breakfast for 4 people. But the view over looks the ocean and during whale migration you can see them swimming by with the dolphins!
Best breach front hotel for the price! Super doggie friendly. If they know you're bringing them They write a welcome note on the board and leave doggie treats and water for them.
They do. Call well in advance for scheduling / availability. I'm not a representative of the company but I've been there and had family stay there. As a little side note. If you would like a couple beautiful beaches to go see locally, consider Marina beach and in Monterey near Lovers Point.
