I received a notification that someone attempted to login to my acct. I immediately googled what to do if that happens. The website says to call them immediately so I did and was on the phone with customer service for over 10 min before they disconnected me so I called back and they said to go onto the chat and I was in the chat waiting for someone to come on and no one did. Not a happy person right now.

We started with Paychex Flex in April 2020 when our non-profit organization grew too large to use paper time cards and manually process payroll. We were promised great things and had very high hopes. There were CONSTANT issues. We had to contact customer service nearly every day. There is a different department for every little part of the system – one for payroll, one for time and attendance, one for this, one for that – and they all have extremely high turnover. I wish I kept track of how many account managers we had! Nothing was user friendly – we never even could manage to obtain a basic employee list. Payroll took hours and often had to be done on weekends in order to get employees paid on time. In August 2021, after once again being sold on empty promises, we transitioned our account to a PEO. We needed some help with our benefits and were promised lower rates and better coverage through their group health insurance plans. The transition to the PEO account was a nightmare, we had to download and manually upload thousands of documents because they can’t transfer it themselves and our employees were extremely frustrated throughout the transition. Again, we were shuffled around between a million account managers who never seemed to have the answers to our questions and loved to pass us on to the next one. We were promised a flat rate, but repeatedly received separate bills for every little thing and given every excuse as to why. We paid thousands of dollars per month, only to find out in November, as our plans were coming up for renewal, that we were supposedly not eligible for the group health insurance through the PEO. What were we paying for? Needless to say, we terminated our contract. We were supposed to have access to everything in our account for 30 days post-termination, but all of our access was taken away immediately. Employees have no access to their pay stubs, we can’t see approved time off requests, etc. We can log in but there is NOTHING there. We basically lost two years of employee information. We’ve spent hours on hold with customer service only to be hung up on MULTIPLE times after nicely explaining our issue and have gotten nowhere. On countless calls, Paychex employees loved to brag about how they were named one of the “World’s Most Ethical Company”, but the way they handled a non-profit’s business certainly says otherwise. I could go on forever with specific incidents and documentation to back up our stories, but it would not get us anywhere. In the end, if you care about your business or your employees, DO NOT consider using a single service from Paychex.

They have totally messed up my payroll acct. I have been trying to reach my acct specialist since Sept. It is now December 22. They have referred me to his supervisor. I have been trying to reach her for the last week. No one else in the company can help me because my acct. is such a mess. No one will return a call after days of messages left. At this point I do not know what kind of problems I will have with the IRS and Fl Revenue. Do not use this company. I have spent hours on the phone holding for another recording. After seeing the response to other 1 star reviews I see that they are again sidestepping any resolution.

You would need to contact your specialist at Paychex. If you are an employee of the company, you need to obtain the W-2 from your employer.
Who?
