The dump and people that work at the physical location are great, most of the people in the office are nice as well, but theres always the one in there that will tell you they are right and you dont mater because they are the only game in town. So if you get garbage service to a residence dont expect much. The service is often late or comes the next day for what they missed. The times are never consistent so somtimes the garbage is picked up around 430-630 am and somtimes during thre day. We live in a community with bears, ravens and a number of other things that love to riffle thru the trash when left at the street. Ive lived hear for 5 years and have had a few rate increases, I cant understand how those are justified other than they have a monopoly and monopolies like making money. Its unfortunate how they pin customers in brooktrails that unable to take there trash to the dump because of the vehicle they drive. There should be some acountablitly. Especially in a time of covid when many of the people they service are struggling financially. I feel totaly taken advantage of as a customer.

We pay good money for this service. This week they did not pick our trash or recycling. They only pick up recycling every TWO WEEKS. I called them and they claimed our trash and recycling cans were too close together. They said they took a photo. So they have time to take a photo but they can’t scoot the can over a tiny bit? Ridiculous. Some of the other neighbor’s cans were very close together but they took theirs. So now we have to go in and drop it off on Saturday or have bags of recycling sitting around for two weeks. Thanks for nothing. Also they said my name was not on the account, just my husband’s name, but he said he knows for a fact that he put my name on it. I heard him on the phone with them adding my name, so I know he did! Frustrating dealing with this service.

In all honesty what bothers me most is the fact that they have extremely noisy truck's and their trucks shake my entire room so I get woken up way too early like seriously school starts around 8:00 am why do they need to get the trash at 5 am when most people are still asleep and not around 6 am. It's getting rather annoying being woken up so rudely

The Willits Transfer Station is available for used motor oil Monday - Friday, 9am to 4pm. Please stop off at the recycling buy back center and speak with an attendant there for assistance. If this is not the transfer station you are inquiring about, please call our administration office at 707-459-4845 or 800-694-2722 and we can assist you further. All of our transfer stations have different days and hours of operation.
Aluminum and plastic bottle recycle are 100 lbs max of each per load, per day. Glass is 1000 lbs per load, per day or they have to turn your entire load away for the day, per state law.
No they don't buy scrap aluminum. They do buy aluminum can, plastic bottles, tin cans, glass bottles.
They won't take any. No paints or bulbs. Hazard waste in Ukiah does.

A burn permit is another option, as is renting/borrowing a chipper and broadcast over your your property. You could also try offering them for free on Craigslist to someone possibly seeking material to chip. I feel the price to dump material here is far too expensive, myself. I'd rather pay someone with space and/or willingness to allow me to add to their burn piles. Or , cut them smaller for campfire use this summer. Good luck!

The cost of service depends on your garbage demands. The size of the cart, your location (city or county) whether you'll need roll out service or not. All of these factors change the cost of service.
