Madison Vines is a hidden gem. They have been renovating this campground for almost three years, and all the facilities are brand new. They are still finishing up the landscaping and some of the other amenities (dog park, basketball / badminton / pickleball courts). But their pool, bath houses, and recreation center were all brand new and fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly. They had a lot of activities planned. However, the rain got in the way, but we still had a great time. There is a brewery, winery, and German restaurant all close by. There is also close to so great hiking in the Shenandoah Mountains, as well as Skyline Drive. Already made our reservations for our next stay!

My husband and I were there from 7/10-15/22 and had a wonderful camping experience. They are still getting sites ready and prettying things up; the grass has not totally come in yet so it was muddy after the massive rain storm. As well, they are still working on finishing their amenities. The pool is absolutely beautiful and has a bubbly area when you walk into the pool for little ones. The club house is also beautiful: foos ball, ping pong, TV, kitchen area with island, connect four game, and card tables. The rec center is not finished yet but once they are finished, this RV resort will have everything you need. Although I didn't visit each of the bathrooms, the ones near our site were all private, each with a shower; one of which was especially for handicapped individuals. WiFi is excellent; they also have cable, but we didn't use that. They have the basics in their store for now; they are going to be expanding their selections. For tourists, Madison and Ruckersville have wineries and antique stores as well as great restaurants. To top it off, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful! We have planned several return trips throughout the summer.

Wow what a nice camp ground! It has a play ground, dog park and a great pool. The sites are so nice with full hookups. The site are pretty level with lots of shade. The staff is real nice will go out of there way to help you: it seams they are under new management and are really trying to fix it up nicely. Oh the have some tiny homes!
