I’ve been a student at Newberry since September. There were a lot of changes going on in the school when I first started, but it has really turned around for the better. I have seen many classmates graduate & get their license. Ms Christina is such an amazing and kind teacher! You can tell she is very driven to have all of her students succeed. She puts a lot of effort into helping us understand everything important to know about cosmetology through her lectures and demos. Other school staff is friendly and understanding. Overall I would recommend this school to anyone considering attending.

I started school at Newberry September of 2021, I wasn't quite sure what to expect because there was still so much going on in the world, due to covid, but nonetheless my personal experience has been nothing short of great. Although the school has faced a few adversities due to covid, I've never felt like we couldn't achieve our goals as students and become licensed cosmetologist because of our amazing instructor Ms Christina. She is very passionate and knowledgable in all things cosmetology and barbering. Her lectures are very informative and she always seems to know every answer to all of our crazy questions. She does her best to be as hands on as possible with all of us students. She is very patient and kind with all of us and is very supportive of the projects we want to accomplish on the clinic floor. She makes learning fun and exciting. Ms Christina is a five star instructor!!

I am a new esthetician graduate as of 06/2022 !! Shoutout to Ms. Katie for being such a wonderful teacher who motivated me to work hard every step of the way! Ms. Katie sets the tone for a supportive environment amongst the many girls in out esthetician class. I was actually recommended to Newberry by a former student who graduated as an esthetician here. She also mentioned how great of a teacher Ms. Katie is and that she can still contact Ms. Katie even after she left for help with anything esty related. Overall, I loved my experience at this school and have already recommended other girls to go here for their esthetician training!!
