Even for a historical venue, they still have a delicious menu for any occasion. Be it for a date night, birthday, or just being in the mood for simple French Cuisine with a lovely setting ; it's your choice. I forgot the name of the lovely waitress but she made it more pleasant and enjoyable for a birthday celebration, and the small things goes along way

Founded in 1927 Taix is still going strong today. We chose to sit in the quieter dining area instead of the more lively bar area. The dishes served are somewhere between family style and single serving. We ordered one appetizer and two entrees and were satisfied sharing all of them. The mussels were fresh and flavored well as was the paella we ordered. The steak was charred on the outside more than I would have preferred. 4 stars because of the steak but otherwise a nice experience.

I live in the neighborhood and finally decided to try this restaurant! I’m glad I did. The building is stuck in time and I mean that in the nicest way. The service is solid, efficient and everybody is genuinely nice. The food was delicious. It’s exactly what I wanted it to taste like. The drinks are strong and for their portion sizes, very affordable. Looking forward to trying all the specials.

Friend and I went here 10-22-21. Great service. Not too crowded. Had the calamari. Drinks were great 👍. Will go back soon! Plenty of Free Parking...

No soup for you, call the restaurant
Love the seafood fettucini followed by champagne sherbet.
It's the regular bar menu but they will have the game on. Come cheer with me and about 20 of my friends. Cheers
No news of this I follow Eater LA pretty accurate
No idea - agree about calling. Nicole at Nicole's Gourmet in South Pasadena speaks French and also some of the waiters at Cafe Beaujolais on Colorado in Eagle Rock.
No
They have rack of lamb and lamb chops on their regular menu. They also have a daily menu where they'll have specialty dishes. I believe other lamb dishes have made an appearance there.
