I would be cautious about bringing your pet here. My boyfriend and I had to bring our 1 year old Frenchie here on Monday morning due to her primary vet being closed that day. They took her in and based off the symptoms she was having, the told us they had to do a fecal test. They did the test, gave us medication, food, and we were to wait for the results. Tuesday morning our pet was not improving so we took her to her primary vet. He advised us that we should call back and ask for her fecal results. I called on Wednesday morning and they said everything came back normal. After letting them know she did eat a small piece of cardboard over the weekend, they recommended we do x-rays. Of course we did them because we thought they knew what they were doing. It wasn't until we went to pick her up and I spoke with Dr. B that I realized we got charged $400 just for the x-rays to not pick anything up because per Dr. B "you cant see cardboard/wood on x-rays". I never said she ate wood by the way. I called my primary and he said once we mentioned cardboard they should've suggested an ultrasound for a blockage because they knew that x-rays only pick up metal objects. Needless to say, I don't think we'll be coming back and the $400 x-rays were pointless since we knew nothing with metal had been ingested.

It was my first time bringing my dog to this shelter. I got there about 30 minutes before it opened to get a parking spot because its a very small parking lot. They were understanding that my dog was aggressive so they gave me a muzzle to put on him & they took him inside to give him the shots then brought him back out to my car. I loved Gladys because she was kind and understanding. Definitely coming back!

Apparently they don't do surgeries here. I took my sweet boy in because he was throwing up and having diarrhea. They checked him and told me he had a urethral blockage and that i had to go somewhere else for surgery. My sweet boy died a couple hours after leaving this Hospital. I wish the vet would have told me he was too ill to have the surgery and that it would have been best to put him down. So heartbreaking.
