I ultimately chose not to rent the apartment I reserved at the Stuart. The location and accessibility were just not suited to my taste, although the premises were immaculate. But I wanted to give special mention and acclaim to Sam Moran in the Leasing/Sales office, who went above and beyond to answer every question patiently, respond immediately, process my forms, and call me right back every time. He was competent, efficient, polite, intelligent, and understanding. And he's apparently only a college student, working this job at the same time. Great things lie ahead for him. If you need any info about leasing an apartment at the Stuart, ask for Sam. He'll take good care of you!

I knew The Stuart at Sierra Madre Villa would be my next home when Mayra Marroquin, Assistant Manager, answered my inquiry call. She was helpful, informative, warm and welcoming. These qualities are genuine and continued pre and post moving to The Stuart at Sierra Madre. As a new resident I could not be happier! The apartment is gorgeous! Has lovely cross breeze, beautiful interior and a stream of natural light causing one to pause. Neighbors are friendly. Someone actually helped carry my bags the day I moved in! Mayra and All other staff are outstanding!

I love THE STUART! The apartmemt is amazing. Alex, John, Robert in maintenance are always helpful with everything. The building looks great. It's like a resort 365 days a year. The office staff is so wonderful. Even through my tough times. Eli was always there. Niki and Mayra always go above and beyond.

The Stuart at Sierra Madre Villa 3360 E Foothill Blvd Pasadena, CA 91107 Eek! Methinks not. We have been living with sleepless nights at the Stuart for years, the noise from roof top heating and air conditioning systems,a hot water boiler that is reminiscent of an earth quake, both sequel rattle and vibrate constantly, every night, noise through the ceiling and walls. I don't mind the barking dogs or listening to my neighbors conversations, that can happen anywhere. But be forewarned this building is not built well, getting old and not maintained to the standard on par with the high rent.The shopping center across east foothill blvd. has the parking lot vacuumed at 2:00 AM nightly with some kind of cyclone sounding truck and if not running the cyclone they are pressure washing sidewalks at 3:00am. The shopping center parking lot lights as well as all the Stuart exterior lighting are on all night, you cant leave your windows or shades open. "the 210" its actually noisier at night than at rush hour, cars and large trucks roaring past the Stuart. The buses come through the back of the building and idle all night they rattle the floors, who knew? That is just the half of it ,if that's not enough, i will update my review as the Management has jumped the rent +$600.00, legally as they pointed out. I feel its unethical,fortunately i can afford the price,however that's the last check they will get from me. I am moving as soon as i can. Watch for an updated review as my last 30 days at the Stuart winds down. Up Date 9/25/14: I have to add the fact that there is a serious problem with security, one guy who sit in the sprinkler room by the entrance of the garage, many times not looking up from his phone as we pass. No security during the day that i have ever seen and no management available at night just a answering machine, you can leave a message in an emergency, they will call you the next business day. I really feel for the one maintenance staff person. he has to wipe up the dog piss in the elevator nearly everyday. We seem to have an abundance of small dogs with even smaller bladders or perhaps nervous bladders. On one elevator ride recently, the control panel of the elevator was covered in piss, i suppose the owner was holding the scared little fellow and he started to piss and it went all over the walls. Look down as you walk around the building the floors and stair wells are filthy. lack of cleaning staff, the one guy is so busy mopping elevator floors that he never gets to the areas outside the elevators. A catch 22, if you don't keep 80% of the floors clean you cant keep the other 20% clean ether. Taking shoes off to enter your apartment is a must because the concrete floors in the halls and garage are disgusting, they do vacuum some hall carpet from time to time.
